The theme this week for the Photo Hunt is : SHOES
Well, I do not wear SHOES. No self respecting cat does.
Mom, on the other hand , does wear SHOES. But not the " nice, pretty" ones.
Her SHOES are really worn out!! Look at these pictures!!!
Garden boots. She calls them "Gumboots", I don't know why.
They are funny looking SHOES!
Here are everybeans favourite!!!!!!Mom says these SHOES are "knockoffs".
I don't know what that means either, but thet are also worn out.
Look closely, you can see creases!!!!!!!!!
Now, look at this fine paw !!! No SHOES here !! I have pads and claws .
They never wear out either!
I do not see why beans wear SHOES , paws are much more practical !!!

I agree, Mickey! Paws are far more practical. And your mom's shoes remind me of my mom's shoes -- she doesn't wear shoes around the house, only socks, but when she goes out she wears hiking boots, black boots, slip ons, that sort of thing. Casual and comfy! *smile*

I don't wear shoes either, clearly we don't have this need!
Good. Those sneakers in 1st photo are really looks like my New Balance running shoes.
Mommy always kisses my toes...if I wore shoes then she would have to take them on and off all day long! She wears comfy fuzzy pink houseslippers or goes barefoot in the summer.She is German so she does wear Birkenstocks. Mostly she wears nail polish on her toes though:)
I like your nice strong paws...they are so comforting on a walk in the garden.

How did you get photos of the PM's shoes? She has the exact set of all three!!!!! Ha Ha Ha! These crazy Maritime women! No strappy sandals and three inch heels for them!

Those are great shoes and no-shoes pictures! If beans would have paws they would also get rid of their shoes! :-) Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi Mickey, we see you posted a 'no shoes' photo too. who needs shoes! If our beans had paws they wouldn't have to worry about sweaty feet, blisters etc. Oh, so much more practical to have paws and a set of sharp claws is practical, too, especially in emergencies.

Humans are very silly, wearing shoes. We didn't have any shoe photos, so didn't participate today.

Sometimes worn-out shoes is the most comfortable pair to wear.

For some reason my beans wear their shoes until they're utterly worn out. Finally mom broke down and bought some shoes the other day, and then she almost fell down walking in them through a store. She was very embarrassed.

My mom and your mom are alike in a lot of ways. I can tell that by the shoes. Gawd ugly boots that serve a purpose, (eg keeping feet warm +/or dry) and not having 60 pair of them, like some of the other bloggers. hahahaha
