In 2003 we were born . The young lady that owned our Mama Kitty could not keep us so Miss P said she would take us. There were three of us, and Miss P called us Georgia,Tillie & Moxie.
Miss P was an older lady and she was not well. She had cancer. But that did not stop her from loving us. As Miss P became increasingly ill, our soon to beMom helped look after us.
Sadly, on July 7,2006, Miss P went to the Bridge. Mom likes us so much, she decided that she wanted us to live with her. On July 8,2006, we got a new Mom and a new big brother...Mickey.
Everything was perfect, for a while. On March 28,2007 Moxie wemt to the Rainbow Bridge.
We are not sure why, it was very sudden. He had a short but happy life though.
In August of last year, Mom got a digital camera and we started blogging.
Now we have all kinds of wonderful friends that we have met through
the Cat Blogosphere!!! What can we say....
We Feel Good!!!

Oh my dearest Monnshine....sorry I have been so late in my visits...mommy has not been feeling so good and been sleeping a lot. I will even have a guset hostess for my garden tour today so I can stay by mommies side and tend to her needs. She does so much for me so this is my way of loving her back.
It is wonderful that Georgia and Tillie came to live with you and your mom. My heart is sad that Moxie went away so soon...
I must say that your song and dance stickperson made my all cheered up!! Glad you got spoiled with some grass too. We do not have much grass here at the cozy cottage...just a postage stamp patch!

Great story! Have a very happy Gotcha Day! :)
Dennis liked reading this story about family and human connecting for the good of cats and with cats. The sad part about Moxie, (who was a beautiful cat) Dennis has experienced too, when his baby brother Larry died suddenly at age 2. Larry was all excited, getting ready to eat lunch and our mom was petting us all and making lunch. Then Larry fell over and he was gone. We all were very very upset for a long time that Larry went to the bridge so young! Now we all try to get along and be a good cat family. But it isn't easy when the rest of the family won't follow Dennis' rules.
What a sweet and wonderful Gotcha Story, Georgie and Tillie! Happy Gotcha Day, girls!

Belated Happy Gotcha Day, Georgia and Tillie :-) That is an interesting story of how you came to live with your Mom. Your Mom sounds like a wonderful woman, so very caring. As Miss P was, too. It's sad that Moxie died young. He looks like a very nice, handsome black mancat.
Happy Gotcha Day, Georgia & Tillie! we're a bit late too. We miss Moxie as well. He always seemed like a happy cat though and very handsome.
