Snow Day !

Julie: Guess what ? Mom is home today. Know why?
Because we are having a blizzard!
That means it is very windy, you cannot see very far and
it lasts more than 4 hours!
You can see behind me all that white stuff.

Mom took this picture at 8:30 this morning.
Just a little bit of snow.

Mom took this video about lunchtime.
You can see the wind  really gusting as it blows
off the roof.
Even with all the wind and snow, the birds still come to
get the seeds !

The webcam at Peggy's Cove shows storm surge
of the ocean. Click the link below.

We've been looking at the Pier 21 web cam from time to time, and it has looked desperately bad out there. We're glad you're all safe and sound, your mom home today!

Oh Julie, that's awful. It's sunny here in Chicagoland. Stay warm. Cuddle with mom if someone else doesn't have her lap.

Thanks for posting the Peggy's Cove link, I wouldn't have thought of it. Hope no fool is out there on the rocks...!

Oh my goodness, THAT wasn't supposed to happen, was it! Stay warm and safe, all!

Pee Ess. I wonder if those webcam folks wonder why all these different cats are looking at Peggy's Cove! (Boy, the ocean looks pretty mad out there.)

We just took a look at the Peggy's Cove web cam and those waves are huge! Just saw a car leaving the area, can't imagine anyone going out there today in the middle of a blizzard - but yes, we did see this happen.

Take care and stay warm. We are relieved that your mom is home with you today and safe.

That was nice that your mom got the day off because of the blizzard!

Thank you for the kind comment about Obi's picture. And the purrs and headbumps.

We sure do miss them when they are gone, don't we?

We lost our power! Did you lose your power? Ours was out all afternoon and I wasn't able to visit any of my pals. No power means no Internet. MOUSES!

Purrs,
Nissy

PS. I can still hear it blowin' out there, now.
