Julie: Well, I am a bit sad today. Mum's vacation is over!
I have enjoyed having her here all the time.
Well, she did go out sometimes but not all day!
We did have FUN though and I did get lots
of attention and belly rubs!
I got to see Earl on the back deck,but mum
would not let me out to chase play with him.
This is the front yard. As you can see,we do not have
any snow.We did have some, but it got washed away by
any snow.We did have some, but it got washed away by
rain and sun. In the lower right corner, you can
see tiny bits of snow. Temps are close to 0C and go up and down a bit.
This is good for all the birds that come to eat
the seeds mum puts out.
We have about 68 days until Spring!
We just have to get through the rest of Winter.
Guess I may not see too many days outdoors.
Dang!

Our yard has a wee but of snow, but not nearly as much as some years at this time.
Earl's cousins are here too:)
No snow here, but lots of ice! We have had temperatures between -4 and -10 for over a week, but today it is +7C so feels almost like spring. Hopefully the ice will melt now before the next freeze.
Seems like winter just hasn't been that hard...YET! I bet your mom is missing you too while she's back at work.
We might be getting snow this week, got to wait and see if the Beast from the East is coming back for a visit! Love all the pics today! XX

I can't even imagine what it would be like if my human had to leave the house to work every day instead of work here. I'm a very lucky kitty.
We are so glad our Mom is home all the time to be here with us, so we understand how you feel Julie. But you do look so lovely sitting there today.
Glad you had a great time with your mum during her vacation! Still many days to go until spring..I hope at least there will be lots of sunny days :-)

Sorry Mum had to go back to work, Julie. But maybe she will give you extra scritches and love on the weekend. All of our snow melted away, too! XO
Sorry we're so late in commenting, Julie. We can understand that you are sad when your mum goes back to work. We're lucky that ours works at home, although, in a more normal world, she also goes off regularly for long periods of time!
