Julie: I am sitting in the doorway.
It is nice and warm outside.
I do like to see what is going on.

I also like to sit on the sofa on the porch.
It faces the door and I can see what is outside.
Often, mum sits with me and reads her book.
This time of |Summer is great for flowers.
It is also great for grass.
Mum needs to get busy and mow that grass!!!!
The big rhododendron bush is really flowering!
Summertime is a really nice time.
So far, it has been nice. The hot weather has not
too hot and the weekend appears to have rain.
That will make the grass grow higher!

Julie, the rhododendron is just gorgeous. Like you. The ones around here are faded away until next year, too soon gone. We have rain this morn so Precious tried to step out on the patio in it, but soon decided it was not her kind of bath, mol.
Julie that is a gorgeous rhododendron! I'd love to watch that too! Whiffin the outside air is so good, isn't it. DO many things to identify and enjoy!
Your mum's rhododendron is glorious, Julie. I think the longer grass probably is good for all the insects, you could look at it that way. Maybe good for mousies too! :-)

Such a nice spot to sit and relax and watch all! My dad says he's been struggling to get all the acres around us mowed this past week due to the off-again/on-again rains out here.
