My mommy would not wash windows when spiders are around either. Sometimes she just takes the hose on power wash setting...that is good enough.

The mom does NOT like spiders either! When she lived in Georgia, they had a black widow spider near the porch and she always walked all da way around to avoid it! They is askeery lookin she said!

Mommy totally agrees on the spiders - yuck! The only good news is that they only seem to block the shadier windows on our house (not sure why).
Our Momma is not a window cleaner either. Most of them are too high, she says. We told her the inside ones are not too high. She just looked at us.
