While taking the ferry across Halifax harbour
on Wednesday,I saw the rig Chemul preparing
to leave port after a major refit. Due to some
paperwork, the rig did not leave until Thursday.
It is headed to the Gulf of Mexico
The oil rig Rowan Gorilla III is also
preparing to leave port. It is also
headed to the Gulf of Mexico.
There is always something going on

Our gramma says "isn't it amazing how each kittie has their own personality" LOLOL mom thinks that is funny, but then she thinks her parents just never had pets as they lived during WW2... just a funny thought though.
the photos of the harbour are lovely. There is a lot of activity going on out there in the water.
the closest harbour we have would be Baltimore... or perhaps Norfolk Virginia... Annapolis does not usually have anything big going on, unless you are thinking about boat and RV shows haha

The oil rigs in the harbor are quite interesting as photographic subjects, particular those steel girder structures on the Rowan Gorilla III.
Such gorgeous close ups..and Mickey you are so handsome...Georgia that picture of you is just stunning!
