Mancat Monday- One Month

It has been one month since Mickey
went to the Bridge.
I miss him so much. He was a friendly, calm
easy going boy. Took things  in stride.
He was my calm when I was upset,
my silly boy when I needed a laugh.
He was a great friend and companion.
After 17  years,it is hard to let go.
You want them to live forever.
He is in a happy place.
It is those left behind that have to adjust.
Until we meet again sweet boy...
Love Mom and all the kitties.

I will still help the other kitties blog.
There are too many cool cats out there and
we are interested in seeing them.
The sadness will ease and we will get back into
a pattern . Right now, I am Spring cleaning and painting.
Don't worry, we will need to visit to get away from those chores.
Have a good Monday and a good week.

No words can help ease your sadness, but know that so many of us have been through it and completely understand.

Mickey was a very special cat, we knew it when we first met him when we were reeling with grief over losing our special house panther Lewis.

Mom remembers doing a complete house cleaning and redecorating when our Borzoi Gracie went to The Bridge. It seemed to help.

Big purrs,

Cory

We are also thinking of you and can't help but think of Mickey each time we come here--he was a grand cat with much personality.

We miss Mickey too. He was one of our first furiends when we started blogging and we remember how he made us feel so welcomed in the Cat Blogosphere.

Purrs to you, Mickey's mom.

Purrs and licks to you - my human knows what it's like to lose a special kitty. I hope someday, as the pain eases, it is replaced with only warm feelings of love and joy for having Mickey in your life.

Yes, it is very hard to let them ago. It's a painful adjustment. We send purrs and tail wags - and a hug.

Sending comforting purrs to you.

My mom is becoming an emotional wreck since my diagnosis, so she appreciates the comforting words of others.

We miss Mickey too. Mama lost a kitty after having him for 17 years too, she understands your pain. That was several years before we came here to live, but Mama will never forget him.

We are sending purrs & headbonks & we are so glad you are keeping up your blog!

It takes a long time to adjust to life without a faithful companion. It was Nov. when we lost Winnie and I'll still turn and expect to see her snoopervising something I'm doing. We honor them and the joy they brought into our lives, each time we remember.

Hugs'n'headbutts from B'more.

Not Just you can't let go, Me and my mom can't let go too. We miss Mickey. I remembered when we first visit your blog, My mom read his profile for me, and we just laugh. We love his attitude.
We might be a new friend. My mom might never lost any cat because I'm the first. But she couldn't imagine she can lose me too. Even my dad said it will happen one day, and you will be F#@K !. Every time, my friends was gone to the bridge. Mom didn't feel well too. It can't be compare with you. But she just wish you can ease your sadness in some day.
Kisses and Purrs for you
xoxo

Dearest Sisterkitties....My tiny heart is still so sad. We understand it is good to get busy...but in the quiet moments...well, then it still hurts so much. I look at Mickey's picture each day...he was the most handsome mancat I have ever seen.
Sending you soft hugs....your Peachysister

(((Hugs))) and Light from me, mom Kim.

It will be 8 weeks on Wednesday that I had to let Annie go and I still struggle with the thought that I killed her by doing something wrong, that the vet did something wrong. I know it's moot, nothing can change the past, but it's hard. I just haven't reconciled it yet.

So I wish you peace and quiet joy and hope your grief eases and you can remember without tears.

We are sending you purrs and prayers of comfort. Last Tuesday was the one month anniversary of our sweet Maggie's passing, and we still miss her so much every day, too.

Thank you for loving Mickey so much and so well, and for giving him such a wonderful life. Surely you will see him again at the Bridge.

Dennis and his mom still get tears in their eyes when they think about Mickey because he was so nice and because Mickey was THE cat. Some cats are just so special they are THE cat.

The
Mom has tears in her eyes because every.single.time. she visits she thinks about Mickey. So she knows your Mom's heartvaches from his crossing over the Bridge.
It will take a long time to heal from losing him, so many memories, which your Mom treasures we know.

Many purrs

I am so glad you are going to keep blogging with the other kitties; I think Mickey would like that. Mickey will be remembered by many. My favorite memory of Mickey is how he would eat grass fed to him a single blade at a time!

We miss Mickey, too, and feel sad when we think about him being gone. But we know it's not close to the sadness of losing a dear friend and companion of 17 years. So know that we're still thinking about you.

We're glad that you are going to help the other kitties continue to blog, we enjoy hearing from and about them.

Seventeen years is a long time to share, especially with a trusting little companion who wanted nothing more than your love.

Dear Mickey's Mom, before Raymond and Busby there were Toot Suite and Alex. Alex was my Mickey. I got him when I was 23 years old and he lived with me until I was 46. Yep, he passed away at age 23. He was my constant companion, my unconditional friend. He moved with me from Indiana to California. He was my baby. I empathize with you and how you are feeling the void Mickey left behind. Time will heal, and you will always have so many good memories. xoxo, Rocky (Ray and Busby's blog Mom)
