Mancat Monday with JJ

JJ: How cool is this? I get to do a post by myself!

Mum says it is Mancat Monday and I am the only

Mabcat here!

As you can see, I found the sun on the porch.

That was pretty neat.

I even had the porch to myself for a while as

Mz Julie was snoozing. Can you believe that?

A young cat (compared to me) sleeping!!

We had a wild weekend.

Friday  it snowed and it was also very windy!

Mum heard lots of bumping sounds and finally went

 to see what was going on.

This is what she saw! This big branch broke off of a tall tree,

At the top of the picture you can see mum's footprints

when she came home from work.

Saturday morning she took this picture.

The trunk of the big tree is in the background.

Mum does not know how the branch fell

and did not take out the power lines that are in front of the tree!

If you look closely at this picture, you can see

snowflakes! It is hard to tell, but it was partly sunny at 

the same time!

This picture is from Sunday and you can see where some

snow has melted by the trees.

This picture is from Saturday and it was sunny.

The sun melted a lot of snow too !

For a good portion of the weekend Julie was doing this

when she was not sleeping on mum's lap.

Mancat Monday with Treasure

Treasure: I do not often get a post by myself but today is 

one of the times I am posting.

I like sitting here and looking out of the window.

 I  often see squirrels running on the deck railing.

This deck is in the back of the house and there are lots of trees.

I am about 19 years old and have pretty good health.

I have no teeth, they were stolen a few years ago.

Mum says I have some matted furs and she is always 

picking at them!  I don't like that.

Mum says  am a really nervous cat. Not sure why, I just am.

I do like to snooze, and will let mum give me scritches.

Sometimes I like to sit and howl for no reason.

Maybe to show that my lungs are still pretty good. Heehee.

Well, it was nice visiting with you, but I think I will

have a nap now.

Have a good Monday.

JJ: I am a little undecided as to what to do.

You see, it was nice and sunny on Saturday.

Turning on my lasers is not the same as sun.

Julie and I had a great time on Saturday.

It was sunny and warm on the closed in porch.

Today is cold and there is clouds and a few

flurries outside.

Oh well, guess I'll have to nap in the house,

maybe on Mom's computer chair.

Julie is missing the sunshine too.

JJ: Hmmm, looks like the yard is busy as usual with 

wildlife!

Yup, I can see critters out there.

Ah well, they won't disturb me.

I have a bath to attend to.

 Treasure: I am undecided. Do I want to go on the porch, 

or go have a nap.

It's hard to make up your mind sometimes!

Maybe I better have  a good snooze.

Gee, that squirrel looks interesting. 

Maybe I should call Julie to come and see him.

Mancat Monday

Hi, I'm Treasure and today I am doing a 

photo shoot.

Before we get to that, I must ask you a favour.

 Please purr for my furcousin Cookie.

Cookie went to the Vet to get his teeth cleaned.

 We are not sure what happened, but he woke up

and cannot see. There is a 50/50 chance he will get

his sight back.

Cookie has has operations before.

He had his tail removed a while ago.

We are purring  very hard for Cookie!!

Now,on to my photo shoot.

The porch is a good place to have a bath too,

Special Mancat Monday

Hello my friends. It's me, Mickey.

I am making a special post from the

Rainbow Bridge.

You see, this day would have been

 my 18th birthday. I new Mom would be

feeling a bit sad today,my siblings too.

Mom wanted me to celebrate my birthday with her.

See how eager I am to see you!!

I do miss you and my family, but 

I had to go. Cancer was making me

 feel to badly to stay in this life.

I am happy at the Bridge because

 I feel like a kitten again!!!

I also have the company of  SO many great friends!

I did get Mom to show you some nice 

pictures of  my handsome self,heehee

I was a very lucky cat,because I 

know how much I was loved!!

I had lots of places to wander,

great places to relax,

and I had fun taking Mom's seat  at the computer!!

Mom loved to take face pics too.

I know they give her great memories.

I do miss you Mom.

I also miss my sweet,darling wife,

the lovely Misses Peach. I visit her

sometimes,in her dreams. We can do 

that from the Bridge.

There is a bunch of sweet tender grass

here at the Bridge. I will be sure to treat 

myself to some for my birthday!!

Well, it is time to go.

Remember that it is not goodbye,

 it is "until we meet again"!!

I love and miss you all,and I 

will see you when it's time.

I wish you all a long and happy life!
