A long time ago, our friend Huffle

Friday Thoughts with Georgia

Guess what friends?

Last Friday we has a storm and 

this Friday we are having another storm!

It is going to snow, then turn to ice pellets and

then turn to rain. Mom hopes it will not be 

      as messy as it was last week!!

On Thursday, Mom was home, and she

took some pictures outside.

Here is Earl the Squirrel again.

I think he was hoping for more seeds.

Mom puts seeds out in the morning.

As you can see, most of the snow  from last

Friday is gone.

There is some still around, but not very much.

We will see how it looks by tonight!! heehee

Monday Musings with Georgia

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm!! 

This box is SO comfy since Mom 

put the fleecy blankie in here!

Oh yeah!!! This will be a super place for a nap!!

Oh hi !! I am getting ready for a nice little nap.

Before I do that, I want to show you 

some pictures Mom took of the snow 

that fell on Friday. 

This is the little road we live on.

This road leads to our neighbours.

There are only 3 full time residents here,

but one neighbour is building a home.

As you can see, the snow is all over the trees.

While it looks quite pretty, the snow is not deep.

We got just under 10 cm (4in)

The wind was blowing as the snow fell,

and you can see by this tree what way

the wind was blowing as there is only 

snow on one side!

Mom liked the way the snow gathered on this fence.

While the snow is cold,Mom says that it

makes for pretty pictures. I will let

Mom post some more later this week.

Oh, one more thing, could you five some

BIG purrs to mom Laura and little Taffy.

Taffy has a problem with one of her eyes 

and has to go to the Vet!!!

They do not have a blog, but updates can

be found on the Cat Blogosphere.

and little Isis !!

Tillie also enjoyed a snooze on the porch.

Sunday and Critter TV

Hi !! It's Georgia , coming to you from the porch.

Friday, we had snow!! We kitties were quite

snug and warm indoors, but there are lots

of critters that live outdoors.

I am going to let you see what we see

on Critter TV.

Mom puts out seeds and

 Earl the Squirrel loves them!

He just eats,and eats, and eats!!!

Boy is he hungry!!

Sometimes he likes to bury the seeds.

When he goes off, some birdies come

along to sample the seeds! You can

see three Mourning Doves and a 

little Junco.

The little Junco finally has a go

at the seed pile.

Up in a tree is a little Chickadee.

look in the lower centre  to see

the birdie.

As you can see, we have lots of critters

 to keep us entertained.

Too bad we cannot go outside to play 

with them!!! Heehee.

Un-Solved Mystery Friday

Our friends at Zoolatry thought that today,

we should post about any unsolved

mysteries we had.  I am posting about

something that happened a while ago.

I was just relaxing on this bookshelf,

when, suddenly I heard a scratching sound!!!

I got up and looked at the wall. 

The noise was coming from inside!!

I could not smell anything!!

I know there is something in there!!

I have no idea what it was!

I asked Mom if maybe it could have 

been a mouse.

She said yes!!!!!!!!!

She said the place is old and there are many 

places  a mouse could get in and run 

around inside the walls!!

I just know it was a mouse!!

What else could be making a noise

inside the wall ?????

Here I am trying to relax and I see

Mom coming with that darn flashy box !!

I know, I'll just close my eyes!!!!!

Darn, she's still there.

Oh well I'll have a stretch.

Now what??

Oh, it's just Treasure trying to get 

away from Mom and the flashy box too! 

We are just going to ignore Mom and relax.

It is, after all, what we do best!!

We can also keep an eye on things up here.

We can see what the other kitties are doing.

Thoughts on Friday the 13 !!

Oh hi !! Happy Friday the 13th!!

Guess what??
Yesterday we had a snowstorm1

The snow was blowing all around

because it was windy!!

Mom came home early because 

she had a dentist appointment.

This what she saw not long after she got home.

She was glad to be home as she usually gets 

home  about 1 1/2 hours later.

Good think there was not much snow.

By 9 PM, there was more snow.

It was still windy!!

Mom says the temperature is going up

and that it will rain!!

So today,she needed an umbrella!

We did not mind the storm!!

We were snuggled together

and nice and warm!!!!!!!!

Have a warm,cozy weekend !!!!!!!

Mom's Birthday Presents

Hi friends. Tillie here.

As you know,Mom had a birthday last week.

She got some nice presents and wanted

to show you a couple of them.

She got this cat and some pretty pink tulips.

That cat is funny looking and does not smell 

like a cat should! Oh well, Mom likes the cat.

The flowers look nice,

 but Mom will not let us near them!

Really Mom, do you think

 I might try to eat them???

YES!!!!!!!!!

This is where the new kitty will live.

He is next to the other new kitty.

I am not sure why she likes those

kitties when she has us.

I don't mind too much, because

she feeds us and gives us 

scritches!! Those wooden kitties

don't get that!!! heehee
