Remembering Tillie, One Year Later

It was a year ago that my little Tillie passed away.

This is her last picture I took before acute renal failure

claimed her. I do not know why, it does not matter.

She is gone.

She was charming and a real diva kitty.

She had such pretty big eyes.

She also loved grass,one blade at a time.

Yes, she was a bit spoiled.

She loved her box on the porch and enjoyed many

snoozes here,especially on sunny ,warm days.

Thank you Tillie, for allowing me to share in your life.

I will always remember you and love you.

May you always enjoy sweet grass and sunshine!

Our 7th Blogoversary !

Well friends, it is hard to believe, but we have been

blogging for 7 years today! WOOT !

It has been mighty fun too.

Sure we do not post every day as we used to, 

but we still enjoy sharing our lives with you.

This blog was started by our brother Mickey,the black cat.

This was the very first picture he posted.

This is one of the last pictures of Mickey.

He was 17 3/4 years old.

He was a very cool cat too.

 This is one of the first pictures of me, Georgia.

 The end of 2013 and beginning of 2014 were sad times for us.

Our Tiger passed away January 5,2014

 She was 17 years old.

On  November 29,2013, our Tillie passed away.

She was a silly girl who always made Mom laugh.

She also loved boxes too. Little ones,

and bigger ones.  She was 10years old and we still miss her

so very much.

So that leaves us, We 4 Cats.

We are still full of fun and we enjoy our friends.

We hope to keep sharing our lives with all of you.

We also will continue to visit with you  as well.

So come on over and celebrate with us.

We have a nice porch with cozy sleeping spots

and lots of windows to watch the outdoor life!

The best thing about celebrating is that you do it with your friends!

Tillie,One Month Today

 It has been a month today since Tillie went to the 

Rainbow Bridge.

I still miss her so much.

Tillie is an Angel

My little Tillie passed away today.

Her condition was just too bad and her little

heart gave out.

I will miss my sweet girl so much.

Thank you for all your kind words and the prayers and purrs.

Purrs for Tillie, Please

The Mom here. When I took Tillie to the Vet on Tuesday,

it was because she seemed to have a sore leg.

She got some medication and we went home.

That night she did not eat supper.

She lay down and did not want to move.

She was much the same Wednesday.

This morning I went back to the Vet and they did blood tests.

She is in bad shape. Her kidney values are very high.

She is in the hospital and they will give fluids to see 

if they can help her feel better.

This seemed to come on suddenly, but was probably 

going on for a while. They hide things so well.

Had it not been for her leg, who knows what would

have happened.  It still may happen.

Please purr for my little girl.

Tillie Does Not Feel Well

Georgia: My sister Tillie is not feeling well. We think she 

may have a sore back leg. 

Mom took her to the Vet yesterday and she has some 

Metacam for pain. She is not eating and sleeping a lot.

Mom called the Vet and they agreed that if Tillie is not improved 

by tomorrow, she may have to go back.

It is hard to see in these pictures, but the wind is blowing

so hard, the tree branches Mom cut are standing up  in

the wind!

You can see the wind blowing by the blurry branch.

It is raining very hard too. We hope it will stop soon.

We also hope we do not lose power.

Mom is glad is is NOT snow ! 

Finally Friday

Georgia: I am happy that it is Friday because Mom is off today.

She is using up vacation days and and is  also off Monday  for

Remembrance Day.

I am hoping that in all those days we get some sunshine,

but Mom says maybe a bit today and Saturday and 

then back to rain. Darn!

Oh well, I will enjoy the extra Mom days.

Tillie: I am also glad Mom is home for extra days. I want

to get out on the porch too,though I don't need sunshine.

It is getting cold and has been rainy so the mice

are coming inside and I hear them on the porch!

I want to come out here and catch them.Night is best.

Only problem is that if I catch a mouse,Mom will NOT 

let me in the house with it.

If I try to play with it on the porch, it sometimes gets 

away! Darn !

We are all going to enjoy extra Mom days and all the

cuddles that goes with having her around. YAY!

Finally Friday

Georgia: Hmmmmm, I think I will have a nap in this box.

I just felt like changing my mind!

Tillie is pretty well recovered from her bite.

Well Julie still has  a bit of the naughty in her yet!

Better beware Tillie.

Uneasy on Friday

 Tillie: Yesterday Mom was home.That was a good thing.

Just before she got up, Julie and I had a disagreement.

I wanted to go in the bedroom and Julie would not let me.

We started whapping and fighting a bit and Mom told us to 

"knock it off" 

We did, but not before Julie bit my arm!

Can you see my wound?

Mom got up and when she got to the bedroom door, she saw

a trail of blood! My blood! Mom checked me over 

and realized I was still bleeding a bit. You can see my puncture

wounds,though a bit of fur is in the way.

I was not happy as Mom whisked me off to the Vet.

There, my furs were shaved off.I got a needle against infection 

and another one for pain.I also have pain meds for 5 more days.

Mom has to clean my wound and put stuff on it,yuck!

Julie, this does not make me like you!!

Julie: I am sorry I hurt you so bad Tillie, I cannot

help myself. Mom's bedroom is my sanctuary and I hang out 

under the bed(UTB).  I was only protecting my domain.

Mom says I am a little possessive, but only where Tillie

is concerned. I let the other kitties in the room.

I just want Mom for myself.

Thing is, so does Tillie.

I guess we can try to keep our distance from each other.

I am not sure we will ever be friends, but Mom wants us to

work on it...slowly. I guess we can try, but don't place any bets!

Georgia: Those girls!!!! Divas both !

Why can't we all just get along?!

I don't like fighting, I like loving!
