Finally Friday

Georgia: We  had snow again. It came Wednesday night 

and Thursday night. It was, according to Mom, light

and fluffy (broom snow). Whatever kind of snow

you call it, it means Winter is still here !

It is pretty cool as well. Mom turns the heat down when 

she goes to work! Can you believe that? JJ and I

snuggle on the chair to keep warm!

(Georgia, it's not that cold indoors!...Mom )

Well, we like heat!

Julie: Ya know, I like heat too !

Treasure: Me too!!

Kitties, you will hardly freeze!  The heat is still on, just not 

at a tropical setting.I will turn it up a bit when I come home.

You need to run around and play . That will keep you warm

and the exercise will do you good.

Mom, when are you going to work!

Look at this picture. Do you see the cat tracks?

A kitty passed through the yard.  We have only seen a kitty 

now and then and we purr he has a home.

Mom puts out food, just in case.

 Mom says it will be cold and there will be flurries this weekend.

That means lots of cuddles for us.

We hope you all have fun and cuddles this weekend too !

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: I am in the kitchen. I like to look out of the

windows. There is lots to see.

I like to check out all the smells too.

I must go to the next window for a different view.

Not too much going on.

I'll see if Mom left any goodies on the counter.

Nope! Back to the windows.

It is not sunny now, but we did get sunshine this weekend.

It was so nice and it was warmer than it has been.

However, as you can see out the window, it was not warm

enough to melt the snow. Now that it is Monday it is

getting cooler and we might see some flurries again.

No signs of Spring here.

Oh well. The weekend was good!

Julie enjoyed the sunshine too!

Finally Friday

Georgia: We have had a pretty good week here because

Mom did not chase us around with that flashy box!

It has been a messy week with some freezing rain,

snow and rain and we are having rain this evening!

Mom says we should have sun this weekend

 and temperatures around 7 C !!!

That is almost a heat wave compared to what we have had.

It means more porch time!

Julie and JJ  were talking last Saturday about what to do.

They decided to window gaze.

JJ took this window,

and saw these crows down the hill.

They were in our yard, but Mom scared them with her camera.

Julie took the other window in the kitchen.

  She looked out on the driveway side of the house.

 She saw these three Mourning doves sitting on a railing.

See how puffed up they are?

It was pretty cold last Saturday.

We hope to see some neat things this weekend if the

sun does come  out!

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: It has been pretty cold this weekend.

Thursday and Friday we had BIG rain and wind.

Sunday we had freezing rain and some snow.

I miss the sunshine.

When it was sunny, I could go out on the porch.

I like curling up in the sunbeams.

I with the sun would come back and be warm!

Even JJ is wandering around looking for the sun.

He keeps looking at the porch door hoping the sun will be out there.

Treasure did not bother looking for the sun.

He figured it was cozy enough on the fleecy blankie.

He did see some bright spots, but no sun.

Mom says we might see the sun early in the week.

We want it now. We want warm too.

We want Spring!

Georgia: Do you know what? Mom says I sleep too much!

As you can see, I am NOT sleeping.

Hmmm,I see something.

OK, I am just sitting on my bed.

That is OK, because I see my brush.

Mom! Time for brushes!

I love getting brushed !

Once again, JJ found the sunshine.

He enjoyed a little bath,

and sightseeing.

 Treasure was just hanging out,watching what the

other kitties were doing.

Julie was on the porch.

Finally Friday

Georgia: Oh hi! Once again you see me in my favourite spot.

It is soft and comfy. Mom says I spend too much time here.

She says I need more exercise !

Mom! Are you serious?

She is using that dreaded word "diet" again.

I can't help it if I like food. I guess this means more 

rationing and I will not be able to sneak foods from

my siblings bowls because she will take them away.Darn !

But exercise!!!

Treasure is sitting on the windowsill.

He is glad he does not need to go on a diet.

Julie and JJ are on the porch.

Something has their attention!

Well, mostly has Julie's attention.

JJ is not as interested.

Maybe it was this guy at our neighbours  place.

He was moving snow around so people can park their cars.

This place down the hill from us is a store. 

The owner lives upstairs.

On the other side of the fence is a lake. It has ice

in it except where the river feeds into it.

The river runs under the road.

We had snow Wednesday night.

Mom has shoveled her paths, including one to the 

birdfeeder. Now that it is Friday, she will come 

home tonight and spend all weekend with us.

We like that!

Georgia: Sunday was pretty drizzly, so I thought it was 

a good day to have a nice snooze.

Needless to say, Mom thought it was a purrfect time

to take pictures!

Are you going to be finished soon Mom?

Saturday was sunny and JJ enjoyed relaxing 

on the porch.

He is a sunseeker!

Well, who can blame him?

Those sunbeams are cozy and warm!

Treasure was also enjoying some  naps.

Mom was there again!

Today Mom is working and it is overcast so we are 

all enjoying some Mom free snoozes !
