Georgia: Hi friends. As yo can see, I am having a relax
on this very comfy blankie. I also have something to tell you.
A while ago I had my annual check up.
Based on things mum told the Vet she decided to test my pee.
See, I was not hungry at breakfast and would run
away when mum wanted to give me breakfast.
Our Vet does the test in house so we knew the results
a few hours after the test. Mum just needed to think about
the results for a while.
The Vet said I had a lot of calcium in my pee.
This can be an indicator of a tumor.
The Vet decided that a high protein diet would be good for me
and she also gave mum an appetite stimulant for me.
Well, I loved the food and never did need the stimulant.
We will see how things go at my semi-annual check.
For now, we are not going to worry.
Whew! That was a lot to say.
I think I will go back to relaxing now.
JJ is very good at relaxing. He has a favourite spot
by the fireplace and sleeps there a lot.
You can see how happy he is.
Earl the Squirrel is also happy.
The birdfeeder is full of seeds and he is eating as fast as he can!
Julie was spending some time window gazing.

Georgia, we're hoping that the calcium in your pee was just an anomaly. We're glad you like your new food.
We hope for all the best! And you are doing some good relaxing...
I purr that all is well for you, Georgia! Enjoy the new food!
We're so glad you're enjoying your new food, Georgia. You look simply fabulous in those photos. JJ, you are always such a handsome guy, and that is a very striking profile, Miss Julie!
Have a great week.
Purrs,
The Chans
WE sure hope you are feeling better soon Georgia and want to eat again. Maybe the new food will help you. Have a great day.
I am glad that you are eating well. That's important!
Not happy you weren't feeling well but very happy you like your new food. Humans, though sometimes annoying, can be useful in making us feel better. Wishing you pools of sunshine.
Mija, Pilchard and Hamlet
Purrs to you beautiful Georgia and we hope that new yum really helps!
Georgia, I hope you don't have tumor and high protein diet will work good for you. Glad you like the new food. Keep eating well, sweetheart. Love JJ's happy face. He sure looks very comfy there :-) Have a wonderful new week xoxo

Fingers crossed Georgia! You have the right attitude! Just keep eating and do as your mom tells you (well as much as it is possible for a cat to ever listen!) ps we have a red squirrel in our backyard too-- i love those little guys!
I am glad you like the food. I will add you to my prayer list. My Sammy has idiopathic hypercalcemia which means after thousands of dollars on blood tests and an ultrasound, there is no cause. He has the special food though so he won't get a blockage from a calcium deposit.
We're happy that you're eating, Georgia. And it's good not to worry. We think everything will be just fine. :-)
You're all looking great, sweet pals (even Earl)! Georgia, you and Mom are doing the best thing not worrying. Purrs and prayers coming your way! And hugs!
Bucket loads of purrs headed your way, beautiful girl!
You're very wise to (at least try to) not worry too much. You seem to be in good hands with your vet, and it's sure best to follow her instructions and keep as calm as possible.
We're very glad you like your new food, Georgia!! Our human freaks out when we don't eat what we're supposed to eat.... SO you're helping a lot when you do.
Georgia, we send mew many healing purrs, get well soon sweetie ❤️
Love all the pictures today, mew guys are terrific models, even the cheeky squirrel! MOL
Sending tons of purrs that this will all go away..so you can continue your lovely relaxing moments on that nice soft blankie.
