Good Weekend for some Kitties

Georgia: Hi friends. Our weekend came and went.
Some of us enjoyed it (JJ and Julie)  but I did not.
Why?  Well, on Tuesday I had my annual check up.
The Vet felt a "mass" in my belly!
She suggested an x-ray and mum said yes.
Then mum and the Vet looked at the x-ray and saw that I
have lots of poop inside me!
Mum said that explains my lack of appetite.
They gave me Sub-Q fluids too.

Mum doubled my Lax-A-Day(stool softener)
on the advice of the Vet.
Saturday I had to go back for a check.
While there was still lots of poop, the vet said it was not too hard.
If I did not pass any by Monday, I should go back and spend the
day at the Vet!

I did NOT want to spend the day at the Vet,
so I tried very hard on Sunday to poop!
I went from box to box to box.
Mum took all the covers off of them too.
I left a big poop in 2 boxes and a smaller one by mum's desk.
That was for taking me to the Vet, Heh,heh, heh!
The good news...I do not have to spend the day at the Vet.
Mum will be monitoring me as I have a tendency
for this kind of thing. I may even have to spend some time by myself.
Oh well, at least I feel better.

Brother JJ enjoyed some sun on Sunday.
He said it felt good on his old bones.

The birds enjoyed the sunflower seeds mum put out.

You know who loved the sunny porch!

Oh, it is SUCH a good thing you managed to poop, Georgia... because I know what happens when kitties don't because Binga has had that problem. She had to have an enema! And I bet you can imagine what she thought of that!

We are glad that JJ and Julie enjoyed that porch time. We are sorry you had to go to the vet, though, Georgia. Good job with the pooping, and thank Cod you don't have to spend a day at the vet!

I am glad you managed to poop and escaped having to spend a day at the vet. Eric used to have the same problem and used to have Katalax every day to keep things moving.

Oh Georgia, I'm sorry you got backed up with poop. I sure hope I never have to deal with that, 'cause I know it can be a pain. It's a good thing you managed to poop enough to avoid an overnight stay, though. Y'all try to have a good week.

Oh, Georgia, we're so sorry you were stopped up. Ugh. We're glad you did your business, though (uh, not so good on your mom's desk!) and hope that you'll continue to be regular, no need to return to the v-e-t. Hugs and purrs.

glad you are feeling better.

part of the cleaning out the litter box routine is me asking the boyz, "did you poop today?" and if I don't see a quantity of poop equal to three boyz i remind them that they have to poop every day. i'm sure they really appreciate the reminders.

JJ's furs are all sticking up! Georgia, glad you had a nice poop; we fought the same thing with Chuck for years.

Well, poop! No, really! Go poop! MOL! Sorry. Maybe you need a good book with you when you're in one of your boxes. Seems to work for our Mom.

"TESSA!"

Gee, what, Mom? I was just trying to help!

Poor you!!! I'm so sorry you've been having potty trouble, but a "mass" could've been much worse so we're very happy you're feeling better.

Georgia, we are so sorry about your troubles! Caroline hopes it's not because someone made it hard for you to use the box in peace, like what happens to her. Mom gives her special treats every day so she doesn't get all backed up, because we know what a drag that can be!

Poor baby!! But good for you for offering your mom such proof that you do not need to go to the vet!!

I am glad you are OK. You scared me when you wrote mass in your belly. XO

Oh Georgia! We’re sorry you were full of poop but glad that some success and didn’t have to spend the day at the vet.

That sure is a good reason to poop a lot!

Georgia, I'm glad you were able to poop with the help of some fluids and your laxative. I got a small amount of laxative every day when I ate dry food, but now that I eat only canned food I don't need it. Hopefully your Mom will be able to keep everything "moving along" at home with some adjustments to your diet & laxative.
I'm glad everyone was able to enjoy some nice sunpuddles.

Sweetheart, that happened t me once and I had to have an enema. Did your vet say anything at all about you all having a daily probiotic? I have a feline one . They are by vet prescription. XXX JJ I love you sweet boy. Julie, you are gorgeous!
