Georgia: We have proof that JJ and I are good drinkers.

We love our water.Right now, JJ is having his drink.

Now it is my turn.

JJ is pretty good about sharing.

This past Sunday was Remembrance Day.

Mum said it was the 100th anniversary of the end of

World War 1.

Every November 11 there is a Remembrance Day

service held in communities across Canada.

This one is in our community.

The veterans,Canadian forces,police,cadets and 

other groups all attend.

Marching in.

Mum said it was well attended.

Mum said the when WW! ended, church bells rang

throughout Europe in celebration.

For this 100th Anniversary, church bells across

Canada will ring at sundown !

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Hi friends. I do like a nice lay in 

when the morning comes. It tends to be busy around here.

I like to take my time getting up.

Saturday was pretty rainy, but Sunday was

lovely and sunny!

JJ likes to be up and after breakfast, he likes to be on the 

porch.It was sunny on Sunday

This is the view we had on Sunday morning.

It was still a bit misty, but the sun burned it

all away.At the bottom of the hill, you can see

our burning bushes.

Here are some closer pictures.

Off to the side of the house are these tall decorative grasses.

Mum likes grasses and she got these from her sister.

Julie enjoyed her weekend too.

Georgia: The weekend is over and mum is back to work.

That means we get to amuse ourselves.

Naturally a nap is a good place to start!

JJ thinks it is a good time to go wandering around

for a bit.

I think I will stay here for a bit before I get up.

This is the face mum sees when suppertime is near.

We all Love the Sunny Porch !

JJ: I love to be on the porch when the sun is shining.

Sunshine feels so good on these old bones.

I really enjoy the heat too.

I also enjoy soft places to snooze.

The couch fits that bill quite nicely.

Georgia: JJ is quite right, Sunshine is a wonderful thing.

After all the rain we had this past week.

it is nice to feel those warm rays again.

What better place than on the sunny porch.

Yes, I know that JJ is behind me. 

That is OK because JJ and I are good pals and often

spend time together snoozing.

He is a really nice brother.

Always friendly and calm.

 Not like another sibling of mine!

We do have some good moments, but her ladyship thinks

she is the top cat. We know better.

Still, she does have ger good moments.

Warm Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Time to get up!

I hear the porch is sunny.

Oh yes it is. Mighty nice too.

A good day to watch what is going on outdoors.

Even though it is now Fall, there is still

plenty of warm days ahead.

 JJ: I also am on the porch in the sunshine.

Here, I am framed by little sister Julie's tail!

I must say, these old bones love the warmth of the sun.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Makes a guy feel like taking a nap.

I think I will do that now.

Naturally Julie loved the porch too!

Georgia Loves the Porch

Georgia: We had another warm and sunny weekend.

It was good to be on the porch.

I like to look out of the windows as Critter TV is good

sometimes.

I also just like to relax.

The sun feels so good.

Yup, the porch is a popular place.

It is just off the kitchen, so I can keep tabs on what

is going on in there.

JJ loves to sleep on the porch.

What makes him sleepy?

Sun will do it ...

Also bathing and grooming will do it.

He grooms Julie a lot, but he likes doing it too.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: We had a pretty nice weekend.

It was sunny and not as hot as it has been.

The mornings and evenings were actually

cool. That is great for sleeping.

The nice temps are purrfect for the porch. 

I even posed a bit for mum.That made her happy.

Humans are easy to please.

I am a bit sad the weekend is so short.

I like being on the porch and having

mum around.

But that's OK, we can snuggle at bedtime.

So, what is Julie doing?
Waiting for big brother JJ to give her a bath!

She could use it! MOL!

Georgia Says it was a Hot and Lazy Weekend

Georgia: After supper, mum often gets on the computer.

I like to keep her company.

Sometimes during the day, I like to go into

 the computer room for a nap

It is quiet in here and usually Julie free!

 Yes, that does make me happy!

It means she is not annoying me.

JJ loves his place in front of the old fireplace.

Being in the living room, he can keep an eye on

pretty much everything. He can also enjoy

a good nap.

Julie is a sun seeker!

Especially when mum is close by reading.
