On this day we remember and give thanks
to all who have served our country in the many conflicts
around the globe. We honour their sacrifice.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning

We know how important this day is, and to teach those who were not there that our freedoms didn't just happen...they were very costly.
We remember today.
We honour and remember all our veterans who fought so bravely for us.

We thank all those who gave of themselves so we can be free.They are true heroes.
We are touched that the poppy tradition continues in Canada. Our mom remembers that when she was little, adults here always wore one. Sadly, she hasn't seen one in decades.
