Let's Get This Weekend Started!

Georgia: We are happy that it's Friday!
This past week or so we have read about many of
our friends having a few computer issues.
Guess what? We did too!
Mr Windows decided it was time for a big update.
Mum said OK and went to bed.
The next morning it was 91% done.
When she came home from work it was STILL
91% done so she turned off the computer.
The next day, she left it off and went to work.
When she came home she turned on the computer
and saw the message "Windows is undoing previous
modifications" Now it is working fine .Whew!
Throughout all this , these are our  reactions.
Me,

Julie

But,mum, you said the computer was not working so that
is why I am in your seat. You can find another seat.

We are happy to be visiting you all again friends!
That should ensure that our weekend will be FUN!!!
Hope your weekend is too!

Sometimes updates work fine, other times they sure can throw the proverbial wrench in things.

Glad you got tit all sorted out.

Yes, there seem to be a lot more than usual. My computer died before Christmas, but the new one seems okay, well as okay as it can be with Windows 10. I have never liked this version and after 3 years of using it never will.
Updates are a nightmare.

Oh, those updates! :-/

I'm also using Windows 10 on my home laptop and I agree with Jackie, the updates are a nightmare. We're glad things "magically" sorted themselves out for you!

Have a great weekend, you too, and your mom too. We're almost done with January, so we're inching toward spring and warm weather!

Yep, we switched back to Mac when Windows forced an update and the PC refused to ever start again. Sounds like the update undid itself. I hope you all have a cozy and update-free weekend!

It's always frustrating to have computer issues. I'm glad the update attempt didn't cause a big problem.
Adorable photos of you two :-) Happy Friday!

Mom is a Mac person. Heard too many things going wrong with windows 10.

Dad says sometimes Windows "updates" could easily be renamed Windows "f*ckups". His words, not mine.

Oh yes, those software and system updates always make us hold our breath, too! Georgia dn Julie, we like your solution for waiting. Hugs to you and Mum!
