Short Lived Freedom is Still Freedom!

Julie: Mum saw Chippy on Sunday.
She was happy to see that he is still atound.

When mum went out to fill the birdfeeders,

I snuck out!

What do you mean I "have to come in" ?
I kinds like it out here!.

Awwwwwww mum!!!!!!!
Can I go out another time? Please?

Maybe.

Mum saw this bird at the hummingbird feeder.
She thinks it may have wanted a drink.
She went out and removed the yellow inserts.
The hummers are pretty much gone now.
She is leaviging them out just in case.

Wow, lucky you, Julie! That must have been fun for the couple of moments you had.

How exciting to get a few moments of freedom. As you didn't try to run off, maybe you will be allowed out again under close supervision. Don't get ideas of chasing Chippy though!

Wow, Julie, that was very exciting for you, probably not so much for your mom! Maybe you'd be willing to wear a harness and leash, though.

Between Mr. Chippy and the bird, you had a good critter weekend!

Julie our Mom would have a stroke if we got out ... side! She freaks when we try to sneak into the garage. But you look so happy on the deck, glad you were out even if it was just for a short time!

BOY, MY mom would have a store too if I got out. Once Admiral did and she really really was scared to death (and so as Admiral) that she would lose her forever. Luckily mom got to pick her up. What a great idea to take the inserts out so the other birds could enjoy!

We bet that was fun to be outside, Julie...though your mom didn’t think so.

It is your right to go wherever you wish! And the Human must find a way to accommodate your wishes.

I keep trying ta sneak out too. But TBT is too watchful at the deck door. I even hid behind the drapes once, but he saw them move. He says I have to "come when called" inside before I can go outside. I'm not good at that yet. ~ LAZ

Wow Julie, it's so exciting you got out for a little while! It must have been fun!
Your mom is very kind to leave the hummingbird feeder for other birdies :-)
Have a wonderful week!

Wow, Julie! That was quite a feat! It reminds us of our much-missed HouBibi.

At least you got a few moments of freedom. And when you do escape, you have a lovely garden to go to

That would have been fun, to sniff all the whiffies and hear all the outdoor sounds:)

But good that you went back inside. it really is safer there!

We have seen woodpeckers on our hummer feeders too. its kind of cute, they are way too big, so they look so awkward...but they are versatile and get there drink!
