Julie: Saturday was a really nice day.
It was sunny and warm and mum let me out
for a while. I was good. It did not walk off the ramp.
It was fun to see what was going on.
I saw birds and squirrels at the feeders.

Mum saw something !
What is hiding behind the tree branches?
Birds! A big flock of birds!
They were happy to just fly around and did not
try to land. They certainly did not try to come after me!
Either way, mum was close by.
Something to do with me not wandering off.
I'm not sure I am ready to try that yet.
I only want to eat some grass!
It's hard to find because our yard has lots of weed
in it and only a little grass. Darn!
At least mum will pick some grass for me!

Minko & Pipo used to sneak outside through our doggie doors to get at the grass at the bottom of the steps...

That was fun to get out in the fresh air and sun. You were good to not try and run off.
Sounds like you had a good time outdoors. Mom and dad have slowly been letting me out as well. I'm extra cautious and move real slow (and they laugh at me), and they stay right nearby because they think I might race after a squirrel or chipmunk or something if I see one. They came home yesterday with a harness and leash, and I think I may be getting out more and more.
What an adventure, Julie! It's good your mom is with you to supervise, though; heaven forbid you take off! What about a harness/leash?

It is great ta go outside. We love it. The big tall fence protects us.
Sniffin the fresh air and hearig the birdies and evil skwerls is allus nise too. And more sun puddles! Sometimes the whole deck is a sunpuddle!
