Monday Musings with Julie

Julie: Mum hurry up an take my picture!
I want some brushes!
 Good thing she listens. MOL!

Around lunch time, I got to sit on the porch ramp.
It was really warm and the sun felt so good
on my black furs!

Around suppertime I wanted to go out again.
Mum said no, because Mr and Mrs Duck came
with their family. Mum did not
get any pictures of them as they were quite nervous
and stayed in the tall grass even though mum
did cut the grass where she put the seeds.

Mum saw this  spider  on the screen in the kitchen
window.  As you can see, It is pretty big.
Mum was happy it was on the outside!
It came and went as it was probably
hunting for food.
Good thing the bugs are outside!!

Well I'm taking it easy today.
We are under a weather warning due to high
temperatures and humidity!
The highs will be around 24-36 Celsius!!
It will feel sticky as it is also a humid!
The end of the week should be back to normal.
At least we hope!

Hope you do not get too much by way of storms. Stay safe:)

It looks like you had a nice weekend, Julie, even though you had to stay inside for part of it.

Brushies are impawtant! We Mews are all short-haired, but you should see the fur come off Marley with the zoom-groom and the flea comb after! And there is so much the next day, you would think he had never been brushed. Fortunately, he loves the brushing.

That spider is giving the biped the heebeejeebies, Julie. Ugh. We're glad you had a great weekend, though, and hope you stay cool through the heat wave.

Julie, I had to roll this post up on the screen, so I couldn't see that spider...gives me the willies!
Just so you know, I've got every comb, brush, and mitt known to mad, to try to get Sweetie to enjoy her spa time.
She's still not buying it...

Yikes! That’s a big spider! I wouldn’t want to see him around here. Our neighbor had a duck build her nest in their yard. Yesterday the eggs hatched. There were 9 baby ducks! And they immediately headed to the water and went swimming.

I like spiders, but I would prefer that one outside too. Keep cool! We are having a heat wave too. XO

We had that kind of heat, then Caturday we got cooler and this morning, there was SNOW on the top of the mountains around our valley. We are supposed to get slowly back into the hots over the next couple of days. We are glad you got a chance to enjoy the sun!

That is a mighty big spider.

We hear you, Julie. It's been hot and humid here, too. Today, the "real feel" was 48 celsius. We watched the bunnies and birds through the window.

Hope you got some nice brushies from Mum!

XO
