Julie: I was just laying in my bed on the filing cabinet
when mum came along to take some pictures.
This filing cabinet is in a corner and there is a space between
the cabinet and the wall. In that space is a floor vent.
As it is Winter, it is blowing warm air.
If you think that makes me happy, you would
be right!! It is SO cozy and I am s very happy cat.
It is quite cold outside so we have to be careful
our water pipes do not freeze!
By Tuesday, the temperatures should moderate to more
bearable conditions. That is good because if it is too cold,
our water pipes can freeze!
Mum will keep the water running a bit overnight
so they will not freeze.
The rest of the week looks like more normal temperatures.
Both mum and I are ready for Spring!!!

That sounds like a very good place to have your bed. I hope the weather soon warms up for you.
I hope your pipes will be okay, Julie. Yes, I've had enough of winter, we've had a lot of snow here this year. Can't wait for WARM weather!

Julie, we spent a couple of nights without heat last week, and it is not an event that we want to go through again.
I will say, however, that Sweetie and I found a way to cuddle all night long, so that was a bonus.

You sure know where o goodness of a warm spot is, Julie! Hope your pipes will be OK. We have had frozen pipes a couple of times...now we keep the cabinets open if it gets too cold.
We lost our power in the recent storm we had...Brrr! the peeps wore their winter parkas inside!

Julie, you like me, have all the warm spots identified and in use.
It's been rather cold here as well - or at least cold for San Francisco (with is probably not as cold as Halifax). Big Merp and Sam Sam love to sit near the heater and get blasted with the warm air, too 😺
Make sure you keep the cupboard doors open below the sinks too! Our cat tree sits beside the hole in the floor that blows the hot air we love to sit there too! Is it not wonderful? Keep being awesome! Purrs Marvelous Marv
