Julie: Hi friends. It has been a lovely weekend and
a warm weekend. As you can see The door to the porch is
open so I can go out anytime. The kitchen is a good
place to be as that is where the food is kept.
Yes I am sitting on the counter. Mum knows I am up
here when she is not home, so she cleans the counters
when she makes meals. Usually, I just sit on the
windowsills. They are pretty wide.
The best place to be though is on the porch!
The old couch is comfy and when it is warm,
mum opens the door and I get lots of nice outdoor smells.
Sometimes I go out, but only when mum is with me.
I do like to go out to eat a bit of grass. MOL!

We are allowed UP on almost anyplace, but not the kitchen counters. When TBT catches one of us (usually Laz) he doesn't get at all "yelly", he just taps us on the top of the head with a finger and then we remember that is a "NO" place.
We get out a lot (he knows when we want to), but the door is never left open. There are too many yellow jackets and hornets around and they would wander in.
I like da kitchen too - becuz FOOD!
That all sounds like the perfect life, Julie!

I know what you purr about with on the counter top. I too am up there. But we kitties rule the roost, so it's OK. Have a wonderful week with lots of out door time. I'm learning how to. Precious

Life is good, sweet girl!
Firstly we hope you are safe from those awful wildfires there in your region.
And us angels would get up on the counters too...until petcretary put aluminum pie plates and baking sheets there...we did not like the sounds they made when they fell off the counter if we touched them...LOL! There were plenty of other good windows with viewing perches in front of them. She NEVER left food out on the counter after shhe found the first kitty, Groucho, nibbling on a loaf of bread, LOL!
