Late afternoon on the porch

Julie: It was pretty cloudy yesterday.

I was out for a bit, but decided that sitting

on the porch was more comfy.

It was pretty nice. Mum sat with me and did some

reading. I hope she finishes soon as it is

getting close to suppertime.

 I would not want to have to remind her with a claw 

or anything ya know! MOL!!!!

Julie says life is good.

 

Julie: Yesterday was a pretty quiet day.
Mum was on the porch reading and she opened

the door for me. It was nice to look out and smell that 

nice fresh air.

That fresh air does things to a cat!

It tends to make a cat feel sleepy. 

I did not fight that feeling!

I had a good snooze and mum had a good read.
Life is pretty good.

Just Relaxing on the Porch

 

Julie: Sunday was sunny in the afternoon

so I enjoyed some time on the porch.

Mum joined me for a while and took these pics.

I went out on the ramp for a bit, but mostly

I enjoyed sitting on the sofa. Mum kept the door open 

so I could see what  was happening outside.

It is nice to just sit and watch the world.

Life is good.

I rule the roost...because mum lets me

Julie: Hi friends. It has been a lovely weekend and 

a warm weekend. As you can see The door to the porch is

open  so I can go  out anytime. The kitchen is a good

place to be as that is where the food is kept. 

Yes I am sitting on the counter. Mum knows I am up 

here when she  is not home, so  she cleans the counters 

when she makes meals. Usually, I just sit on the 

windowsills. They are pretty wide.

The best place to be though is on the porch!

The old couch is comfy and when it is warm,

mum opens the door and I get lots of nice outdoor smells.

Sometimes I go out, but only when mum is with me.

I do like to go out to eat a bit of grass. MOL!

 

Finally Friday

Georgia: Another weekend is here again.

We are looking forward to the Mom time, but we really

want some sun time. Today is sunny, but Mom says

the weekend will have mostly rain. Darn!

We do not want rain.

Julie: Yeah! We want sunshine and warmth.

Mom says it will be a bit warmer,just not sunny.

Oh well, we can still play on the porch.

Oh hi !!

I am enjoying some time on the porch.

When we have sunshine, it gets warm on the 

porch, Mom opens the door and lets us enjoy

the warm rays!There is a cloud passing by

right now, but the sun will be back.

Oh, I need to turn around. There!

Oh those sunbeams feel nice!

They make me warm and a little bit sleepy.

I think I will continue with my nap!

It just feels so comfy right here.

Mmmmmmmmmmm!!!

Ducks on Sunday

I like to sit on the porch and look outside.

I often see Earl the Squirrel and lots of birds.

If I look further, I can see the ducks on the lake across the street.

They are sitting on the ice next to open water where the river empties into the lake.

The river runs under the bridge.

This picture was taken on Wednesday morning.

The sun was trying to shine and is was very foggy.

Most unusual for this time of year.

It has been a week since Caesar went to the Bridge.

I show this picture as this is how we remember him.

Dictionary .com defines delicious as:

1. highly pleasing to the senses, esp. to taste or smell: a delicious dinner; a delicious aroma.

Mickey says the sun feels delicious of my furs.

Tillie is soaking up those delicious ,warm rays.

Georgia agrees that the sun is warm and delicious. It makes her sleepy.

Storm ?

This is going to be a good day to stay indoors. Mom says a big storm is coming and will be here later today. It's going to snow, then it's going to rain. That sounds messy.

I think I will have a little bath.

After my bath ,I'll have a little snooze and maybe watch the storm.

Storm!?? Did you say storm??

When? Can I still go out to the porch?! Will it be cold out there?


Is it really going to storm Mom? I do not like storms.

Don't worry Tillie,it's outdoors, but it will be cozy indoors.
