Rainy Monday

Georgia: I am wandering around, but it is rainy

 so there is not a lot to look at outside.

Most critters are taking cover so I will have a snack

 and maybe have a nap myself. It is pretty quiet when

mum is at work.

We can play after supper!

Julie: I am giving mum my best "How can you 

leave me" look.

It didn't work and she left me  to go to work!

Can you believe that!!

Now what will I do?

It was SO much fun when she was home

during COVID lockdown.

Oh well. I guess I will be like Georgia

and have a good long snooze.

We can play when mum comes home!

Rainy days are good for naps.

Finally Friday !

  Georgia: This is pretty close to an action shot.

         I am in motion ,just not fast motion. 

                                              Mum complains I don't get enough exercise .                                            I say she is one to talk ;)

  

She is happy I am eating some food.

She says I don't eat enough.

I do try though.

I am sitting on the porch listening to outdoor evening

sounds. It's kinda FUN!!

Georgia: Today I am being nice to mum.

I am posing for this picture.

As a rule, I do not like to look at the camera.

I can pose and look into the lens when I want to

and that makes mum happy.

I guess that camera is not so bad after all.

Julie: MUM!!!!

Mum: OK Julie. Just relax.

The grass is not going anywhere.

Georgia: Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

I love open windows when everything smells nice.

Do you get nice smells from your windows?

We live just outside the city so we have more trees

and wildlife.

Guess so! Momma duck and her 7 ducklings.

Now, Julie would think it SO much FUN

to chase these ducks,but she is NOT going to do that.

Monday Viewings

Georgia: Happy Monday friends!

We had a pretty neat weekend with all kinds

of weather.

We had sun and  a full moon thar mum said

was a Strawberry moon.

Julie: In addition, we also saw some critters.

I was not allowed to visit with them though I was 

very curious.

The duck family came for the seeds mum puts

out. They seemed to enjoy them.

When it was time to go back to the lake, the baby

duckf followed their mum.

She looks after them to be sure they are all

accounted for too.

Rocky Raccoon comes by in the evening.

Any seeds the birds and squirrels do not

finish he does!

He looks kind of big and mum says we do

not want to play with him!

We are glad we have lots of windows for 

watching these critters.

Sunny Days !

Georgia: It was so sunny on Thursday.

My head is in shade and my body is in the sun.

Makes my colour look the bottom half

is faded!

Julie: Mum has several of these shelves on the wall.

I love getting up here  and looking down on her. MOL!

Cats and Critters

Georgia: I like to keep mum company 

when she is working on the computer

I have this nice soft spot  and I can snooze if I'm tired.

I can also offer advice when necessary.

What is that black thing?

Is that a handle?
Wait!! Does it have claws?!

Oh yes!!!!

Julie most certainly does have claws!

Earl shows off a new way of dining.

We do not think it looks comfortable.

We will not be trying this method anytime soon.

Two of our family of groundhogs are enjoying

lots of grass and other delectables in the yard.

We think we will stick to kibble and stinky goodness!!!

Georgia: Mum was taking pictures one day

and I was in the mood to pose.

She liked that a lot, because usually

I spend a lot of time snoozing.

Hey, I'm a cat,it's my job!

I do wander around sometimes too.

How about some treats mum!

Julie: The porch is a great place for a bath.

It is sunny and quite warm now that the weather 

is getting warmer.

Now that the bath is over, I can relax and enjoy

the warmth of the porch. I do love

the porch when the weather is warm. It feels so cozy!

What can I say...we cats love heat!
