Oooh, yummy! We love to watch the birds and squirrels, but when the door opener (a.k.a. human) lets us out into the back space, stupid Nicki charges at them and scares them off. Me, I know how to stalk. I have patience! Okay, so the only thing I catch is bugs...but I got a really big dragonfly once! And I mean it was BIG! I want a go at your mourning doves!

Mourning doves are fun to watch! Our mom found one with a broken wing once and rehabbed it in a bird cage.

That's really cute, how Tillie is pawing at the window and so intent on the doves. Luna is like that when she sees our "doves" (i.e., big fat city pigeons).
Oooh, the suspense in your sequence of photos was killing us! And how exciting to find birdies outside your window, and how cool that those same birdies are outside our window at our feeder too!

Great photos! You sure have an awesome spot to eat breakfast. We have a pair of mourning doves who visit our backyard once in awhile. They look like they would be easy to catch!
