Treasure: I am ready to leave the kitchen.
Mom has that camera pointed at me.
She makes me nervous.
(everything makes me nervous)
I cannot lose eye contact with her.
Getting closer.
I'm out of the kitchen.
OK, so nothing happened!
I'm still nervous though!
Better head to the another room.
Mom: Treasure, you're afraid of your own shadow
sometimes! Not sure why, but Treasure is a really
skittish kitty.

Treasure, your face just makes mom wish so much that sh could hold and pet you. But now I will tell her that you are a bit skittish. She would probably ask for your permission anyway. xox

Beautiful Treasure, we don't think you are nervous. We think you just like to err on the side of caution. One never knows what dangers could pop- up as you leave the kitchen. Lions and tigers and bears - Oh My! You need COURAGE dear Treasure. You remind us if the Cowardly Lion from the Wizard of Oz. He was nervous too, until he finally found some courage and then he was never nervous again. Maybe they sell courage at the pet store & your mom could bring some home for you.

It's always a good idea to keep your eye on the flashy box, just in case!
Treasure, you and Angel are a lot alike, I think! She darts off, or hangs back. We humans wait until she's all sleepy, then she purrs and purrs and we love on her and it all works somehow.
