Georgia: I am really glad it is Friday.
That means Mom will be home for two days!
I am happy now, though I was a bit upset with Mom
yesterday. She came home and took me to the Vet!
It was for my annual check up.
I passed with flying colours. Whew!
Now that that is done, I can relax and enjoy the weekend.
JJ: I like Fridays too. When mom is home, she keeps the heat
turned up to a comfy level.
When she goes to work, she turns the heat down a bit!
That is SO not nice!
Julie: I am glad it is Friday because I love to spend time
with mom. I follow her everywhere.
I really like mom!
Treasure: Georgia went to the Vet?
Oh no! You are not taking me are you mom?
I'm ready to hide!
Mom: Relax Treasure, you are not going to the Vet.
(That will me next month)
We are expecting a storm on Saturday
Not sure what it will be like, but we will be safe and warm
indoors with mom.

Georgia, I'm sorry you had to go to the vet! But I'm glad it was just an annual checkup and you got good results :-) Now you can really relax and have a good weekend. I hope Treasure's visit will go well next month, too! Have a happy weekend!
Thank goodness its was only a check up at the vets - we had our annual review last week so it's over for another year (paws crossed).

My mom & dad do the same thing with the heat. While they are at work and asleep it's 65. When they're home it's 68. Mom was making it 70 last month because she was cold, but then she got the heating bill. Ouch! It's back down to 68 again. It's a good thing I can lay on top of the heater vents to soak up all the hot air.

We sure are glad that everything went well for you Georgia. That is always a big relief. And we are glad that you get to spend time with the Mom this week end in a warm house.
Haha, thank you for this post! I seriously thought I was the only "bad parent" who doesn't have the same heating level for the cats. If they were solely hanging in the warmest room, I might consider it, but they often choose to sleep in one of the cold rooms.
