Georgia: Well, once again it is Friday.
We are happy but mum is happier as she has 2 days
to spend with us!
This past week mum saw lots of interesting things
and we are sharing them with you.
This is a picture of a female cardinal.
Mum does not often see this bird as she is
away from home working.
Mum was happy to see her visiting though
Mum was looking out the kitchen window one day and saw this snail!
No, she did not bring it in for us to sample.
This is a Burning bush.
In the Fall when days grow shorter, the the leaves start to turn a
bright red. In other words,it "burns"
Last week, many people were affected by Hurricane Matthew.
He still had enough energy to make it us to Nova Scotia!
On Monday he blew across our province.
While the farthest east part, known as Cape Breton, got the worst
with severe flooding and damage to roads and property,
we got high wind and rain.
The wind broke this big branch.
As the branch fell, it hit this window and broke it!
The window has double panes and only the outside pane broke.
Mum will have to fix it before Winter.
On her way to work Thursday, mum saw this cat
trying to figure out how to get that pigeon.
We think that all he could do was watch wistfully.
We should be getting a sunny weekend
and we are looking forward to doing more of this.
It is not often that you get to see 3 of us in one picture.
here I am with Julie and JJ.
Treasure was sleeping somewhere else.
We are looking forward to a fun weekend again.
WE purr that all of you also have a
FUN weekend!

Wow, Matthew came all the way to you and it was still strong enough to cause problems? That was some hurricane! I am bummed that your human did not bring you the escargot.
Wow, we didn't realize Matthew made it dat far north.
The burning bush looks lovely. Matthew certainly covered a large area causing damage.
Nice pictures.
Good the hurricane was not too bad for you.
That's a fun pic with three of you!
We read about the damage in Cape Breton. Sorry about your window, but it's a good thing you still have one pane working!
Have a great weekend!
Purrs,
The Chans
Such lovely pictures. I love that you call leaves turned red "burning bush." It sure looks like a flame :-)
I'm sorry the hurricane affected your area. But I'm glad it broke only the outside pane. I hope he didn't scare you too much.
Great photo of three of you in one picture! Have a fun weekend!
Wowwee! Glad only one window was the casualty of that storm! Our office has a row of burning bushes across the front...they haven't started to go red, but it will be soon. A three-pack cat photo...yes!

That darned Matthew! We are glad you weren't severely impacted but you sure had enough from that pesky storm, just like we did.
We loved all of your photos and too bad you didn't get a sniff of that snail.
Happy Weekending!!!
Enjoy your sunny weekend with your mom!
Beautiful burning bush. Sorry about your window. I hope you all have a nice weekend with your Mom.
Outstanding pictures! The snail was SO cool!
The Burning Bush is gorgeous. Sorry about Hurricane Matthew, hurricanes sure can do a lot of damage to a large area.
We really enjoyed those random pictures, gang! Well, maybe not the broken window one -- sorry to hear that Matthew made that happen. Have fun with Mom this weekend!
Thant's a nice set of interesting pictures! What a mess that naughty Matthew made. We hope by now the power is back on so peeps there can try and get back to normal before the rages of winter get started.
Good thing you had a back up pane in the window.
Hope your weekend was furbulous!
