Happy Winter Solstice !

Georgia: Well it has been quite the week.
The snow we had last Friday was washed away by rain.
Then on Tuesday, we got more snow!
Now, today and Saturday we are getting more rain.
Lots of rain, up to 50mm (2 inches) !!
We celebrate the first day of Winter with rain.
(click the red link above. There is a recipe for mulled wine)
Saturday will also be a Full Moon  known as
the Cold Moon. (Except our Saturday will be rainy)
The good news is that Christmas Day will be sunny.
Mum likes that as it is a travel day for her as she
visits with family.

With the shorter days, it is pretty dark when mum gets home.
That does not make for good picture taking.
We do not mind, but mum does.
It also means she has the camera out all weekend!
However, these pictures were shot last night.

As you can see, we are all pretty much in cozy mode.

Sleeping time is getting close and we are ready for that.
So is mum and JJ.

Julie is sitting beside her bed.
She has not decided where she wants to sleep yet.

Here is our Christmas card.
We wish all of you a

And,naturally really FUN weekend too !

Happy Solstice and Happy Christmas to you all as well! We're so excited that we've made it to the Winter Solstice, since this means the return of daylight, starting tomorrow. We know it's incremental, but it doesn't take long to notice it, especially in the evenings!

Have a wonderful and safe weekend and Christmas. Purrs and peace from Nicki and Derry.

Happy Winter Solstice! In celebration, we even got dinner a little bit early! We'll get to see the full moon but we're not holding out much hope for the meteor shower. Instead, we'll be inside where it's toasty!

Our mom says that mulled wine sounds delicious! We don't see any nip in the recipe, though.

Have a great weekend, kids!

Happy Winter Solstice, Georgia, JJ, Julie and Mum! It sounds like your weather is wacky, just like ours has been.

Any pictures of you cuties are just fine with us, but we do understand about the lack of natural light in the winter months.

We love your card. It's so beautiful! Merry Christmas!

Hugs to you all. XO
