Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Friday afternoon we had some snow.
It came down in big,fat fluffy flakes.
By evening the flakes were smaller and
a lot wetter and stayed on the ground.
Mum said it was a slippery ride home.
Later the temperature dropped and the snow
got a bit harder.
Good thing mum went out and shovelled tha walkway
and a path to the bird feeders.

Saturday and Sunday we had sunshine!
It was pretty nice as there was no wind and
we got to go out on the porch.
The snow on the trees was pretty.
The bare tree in the foreground is dead.
With all the wind we have been having,
it kept losing branches.
Guess there will be some tree trimming this Spring.

We enjoyed lounging on the porch.
JJ loved soaking up the warm sunshine as did I.

Julie always loves being on the porch and she spent
time watching the squirrels.

Earl made it very easy for her!

Yes, we enjoyed our weekend!

Yes, Julie has started licking again.
Mum says she will try some Bag Balm
She uses it on her feet. Maybe it is the dry air.
Last time she did this was last December.

Winter has really come to your place! I hope Julie can find some relief - she must be uncomfortable to be licking her fur like that.

We love that photo with all of you in the sunpuddle. Poor Julie. We sure hope Mum can find a way to relieve those itchies for you.

How nice to have had those sunpuddles to bask in.
We sure hope something can be found to relieve Julie;s itchiness and all that’s licking.

Hey, that is a great Earl Selfie!!

Snow is always pretty when it's viewed in someone else's photos. :-)

We're glad you had a good weekend, with lots of sunpuddles! We didn't not have that much sun, unfortunately, but maybe this week we will!

Julie, I've already gotten cabin fever, and the season just started! Wonder if the changing light makes you feel hemmed in. Poor girl, but we know that your momma will move heaven and earth to get you happy again.

Poor Julie. Maybe a humidifier would help her with more moisture in the air.

Sounds like you had a great weekend! We're sorry to hear about Julie. Has your mum tried dabbing the affected area with chamomile tea (cooled, of course)? Our mom used that on Izzy when he started biting off his fur in one spot and it seems to have helped.

Prancie and KaTwo do that too. I give Prancie 1/4 of a zyrtec daily and it helps. I can't get a pill into KaTwo though.

you said the dreaded four letter "s" word.

Your snow is very pretty. Sometimes I wish we had pretty snow to look at, and then I'm glad we never have to worry about slippery ice and shoveling snow. Our squirrel has been naughty getting into our bird feeders (and breaking them).

JUlie, love...maybe a humidifier and your mom's balm will help. You need your furs darling girl. JJ...you look so smoochable there and Georgia, my mom has a weakness for beautiful Torties. XXXX

How great you had sunny weekend! Ours was all wet but at least there was no snow :-) Looks like you all enjoyed porch time! I hope the balm will help Julie with itchy skin xo
