Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Hi friends! We had a pretty nice weekend.
It was quite pleasant with sun and warm temps.
As you can see, I was on the porch.

I have not been on the porch for quite a while because
it is pretty cool during the Winter and early
Spring. It is good for watching Critter TV too.

JJ likes to sleep more, but he does get up and has a
wander around the house.

When he wakes up he is always interested in food.
That makes mum happy. Mum says his appetite is the best
of the three of us!

Julie loves to hangout near mum.
Mum was reading and Julie was waiting for tummy rubs.
She got plenty.

Julie still enjoys the porch and spends lots of time there.
Her appetite is still not 100%, but she is eating.
She is a happy cat and follows mum around.

As for Critter TV, Mr Groundhog stopped by again.

He even posed for this pic!
(actually mum was in the kitchen. If the groundhog
saw her he would take off and hide. They are very nervous)

We hope you had a good weekend.

Like JJ, Binga has a great appetite, and in fact she eats more than either me or Boodie - and at almost 19, she is the oldest. I'm glad you guys got some porch time!

We humans get totally bent out of shape when a kitty doesn't eat! This is why The Hubby took over feeding the inside cats, 'cause Manny walks away from his food all of the time, and I start fretting. The Hubby simply picks up the bowl and puts it away, until Manny comes to ask for more. Chili eats his food in one gulp, it seems. Here's hoping all of you lick your bowls clean!

A lot going on there this weekend, and all of it pretty good, it looks like.

I wanted to thank you for your condolences upon my Parker's passing. Like J J, he was a big eater, even when he was ill. Like your mum, I was very happy when I saw my orange-boy packing away the food.

Thank you again for your sympathy. It means much to me.

Wow, we don’t get the Groundhog channel here.

Dang, I'm almost surprised we don't get the groundhog channel here eithe,r although there are lots of stars on the show elsewhere in town that Mom said she has seen. Now Julie, you eat well. You need your strength to get all completely better. JJ...you are so handsome and as I said to Julie, you too keep eating and enjoying your life. Georgia...you glow you're so beautiful as well. XXX

It's nice seeing you all, as always, Georgia, JJ and Julie. We are glad you got that porch time ... hooray for better weather! Julie, please eat your food, okay? Maybe you can take some lessons from JJ. :)

Looks like you had a wonderful weekend. Porch time seems like a great way to relax during those nice weather days. Critter tv with a groundhog is so great to see. Love the photos. Have a great one.

I sometimes do not eat very much, then I get into the ravenous mode. MOL!

Before we had our fence, we would get plenty of those groundhog (Woodchuck) visitors...now we only see then if a young one gets through/under the fence.

Purrs to all!
