Sunshine Makes Us Happy !

Georgia: I was not feeling  well last week
and had to visit the Vet.
Yes, I was a bit constipated again, but I feel great now!!
What does it mean when mum says pumpkin
is not just for Halloween?

JJ: It was pretty nice this weekend so I had
lots of sleep time on the porch.
It was so good.
I feel so ...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Julie: Oh that sun feels good on my body.
My black furs really absorb the heat!

There is only one problem...

That sun is BRIGHT !!

I am glad you are feeling better again, Georgia.
Don't complain about the sun being bright, Julie, I just wish it would make an appearance.
Enjoy your snoozing, JJ.

Georgia, has your mum ever tried giving you plain Metamucil (psyllium fiber)? Nicki is getting it daily for his own issues, but when our human was reading up on it, it seems it's more commonly given to cats for constipation issues. Our human also keeps Restor-a-lax on hand, but thinks you might already get that. If you've not had the Metamucil, it might be worth a try. Purrs from Nicki and Derry!

Anyway, we hope you all have a great, sunny week and that everyone stays okay!

Georgia, I'm glad you are feeling well now. Niko tends to get constipated so we have pumpkin here all year round :-) JJ and Julie look very relaxed! Julie, the last picture is so adorable. The sun sure looks very bright!

Sometimes, some cats will purr at mealtime, and house cats tend to do this more than cats that aren’t house-trained. That’s because of the following:

They know they can emulate a babies’ cry in order to get attention
They’re hungry and know that the sound will get attention
Sometimes they are different sounds with a meow attached to it, similar to how babies cry
Cats know that if they do this, a human will want to feed them, and sometimes some cat owners will understand the distinction right away.

Cats know about this because they did this with their mother, or maybe they developed it over time. House cats do this more simply cause the following:

They don’t have to worry about predators
The owner is feeding them, they aren’t getting the food themselves
They know how to get the owner’s attention
Even adult cats who are old will do this weird meowing purring combination, and usually, if they’re hungry, they will do this for a while until their needs are met. So, if your cat is being very loud, purring and meowing like crazy, it’s a good idea to do this to help them get fed, and maybe make them a little bit quieter.

We're glad you're feeling better now, Georgia! It's good that you tolerate pumpkin--none of us will, not even in treat form!

Dream on, JJ. And Julie, you gotta keep your head moving with the shadows--that's how I do it. ~Elliott.

Great shots of you all. I am glad you are feeling better. Pumpkin does keep things moving. Also 1/8teaspoon mixed in your food helps too.XO

We love the sunshine, too, sweet pals! Looking comfy, Mr. JJ. Julie, maybe you need some kitty shades, so you don't have to cover your eyes. And Georgia, we are so glad you're feeling better. :)

Hugs to you all, and to Mum, too!
