A Good Weekend to be Outside!

Julie: We had some visitors this weekend.

This is Earl the Squirrel.

Those toenails are really something!!!

 

These next pictures are of me enjoying the warmth

of the deck.

Oh yes, it feels nice and warm.

 

A good place for napping, but I do not nap.

I am still a bit nervous outside.

I am happy to just enjoy the sunbeams!

I think mum likes it that way.

 

My FUN Weekend!

 

Julie: I got to go outside.

         It was sunny and warm too!

Needless to say I was excited!

 

I had a good look around... 

then I hopped into the grass .

Mum is right. The tasty young grass is gone, but there

is still some grass!

I loved exploring and all the smells.

I was good and stayed close to mum.

Earl was in the tree and screeching.
I ignored him. After all, it was my time outdoors.

He can run around anytime.

Even though my outdoor time was short, I really
enjoyed it a lot . I hope it will be a long while before any of that

white,cold stuff comes around. I like my short excursions!

I hope mum lets me out again soon.

Sunshine Makes Us Happy !

Georgia: I was not feeling  well last week

and had to visit the Vet.

Yes, I was a bit constipated again, but I feel great now!!

What does it mean when mum says pumpkin

is not just for Halloween?

JJ: It was pretty nice this weekend so I had

lots of sleep time on the porch.

It was so good.

I feel so ...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Julie: Oh that sun feels good on my body.

My black furs really absorb the heat!

There is only one problem...

That sun is BRIGHT !!

Sunny Porch with Georgia

Georgia: We had a nice sunny and warm weekend!

It was so nice I nad to get on the porch and 

just hang around. It was really nice.

Even JJ was on his way out.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: We had a nice weekend.  It was warm and sunny.

The nice thing about Summer is that the sun gets up early

and stays up late so the days are long! That means, the

sun is long and we love the sun.

Mom likes the morning sun .

She says it is good for taking pictures.

That can sometimes be annoying, but the sooner we pose,

the sooner she goes away!

Treasure has taken to sitting in this window a lot.

It faces east so he gets the rising sun.

JJ likes the porch as it is sunny and he can have some snoozes.

He is already comfy in his spot!

Julie always wants to get out on the porch.

Another Snow day and Welcome Spring!

Georgia: Well, the effects of the snowstorm have affected

Mom again and she was home for another day yesterday.

We liked that and  she did too.

It was sunny and Mom went outside to take some pics.

Our yard now has these pathways.

The banks on either side are taller than Mom!

The driveway was shoveled out after the snow last weekend.

Now, it is knee high, but the banks are high.

Mom finds it hard to throw the snow up on those banks.

It is a slow process as she drags a shovel of snow

to a place where she can put the snow.

She does have a path to the bird feeders. As you can see

there is a lot more snow than on Sunday!

Julie: That's right Georgia. But  today is sunny

and it is the first day of SPRING!

We purr Spring will make all of this go away soon!

We are all happy to welcome Spring !

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Hi friends. I am trying to decide what to do.

It is fun when Mom is home,  not so much when she is

at work.

I like to sit on the arm of the chairs. When Mom is sitting 

there  she gives me lots of scritches. I love that!

I'm ready for those scritches! Anyone want to give me some ?

Saturday we had some sunshine and JJ was soaking

up the rays in the kitchen.

Every once in a while, he would look outside to see what was

going on.

Treasure is enjoying a good snooze. 

He looks quite cozy.

We all may join him for a snooze until Mom comes home.

Unless Squirrel TV is good today !
