Flynn had a thing about our artificial tree too. It had the same effect as nip for him.
Oops, Julie has been caught! Hopefully Santa will overlook this slight "transgression."
As for your mum's desk...We bet she knows where everything is! (Unlike the human, who is tidy, but puts stuff away then forgets where. Ha.)

LOL Julie, my boys did the same many years ago! Since then that tree hasn't made an appearance for Christmas :-)
