Georgia: On Wednesday, mum stayed home with us.
That is because we had our first BIG snowstorm!
Mum says we got about 30cm(12 in) of snow!
The good thing, she said, was that it was light
fluffy snow and easy to move.
Thursday was pretty cold.
Friday is starting out cold, but will warm up
during the day.
So much in face that we are expecting rain on Saturday!
Mum says that will probably make a mess especially
when the temperature falls again over the weekend.
Did I mention how happy we are to be indoor cats?!
These mourning were glad mum moved the snow and
put out seeds. They like cracked corn.
Our yard was a Winter Wonderland!
Thank goodness the snow was light and fluffy.
We are still very happy to be indoor cats.
As pretty and clean as that snow looks, mum says it
would be pretty cold on our paws.
I like my paws warm and dry.
Julie: Once mum came back indoors,
I thought it would be fun to play hide and seek.
Now you see me...
now you don't!!! MOL!!!
What ever your weather this weekend, we purr you all
will be warm and dry!!
Oh yeah... don't forget to have FUN!!!

That IS a lot of snow! We have none here right now, either. Maybe it will rain and even freezing rain, but other than snow showers, not much snow is predicted around here for the foreseeable days ahead...
Enjoy your weekend!
The snow looks so lovely. We had a foot of snow in a few hours when we were in the Arctic Circle last October and I loved it! I probably wouldn't if we got it here, but we seldom get snow.
Wonderful!
Stupid spam message above me here Girls! Claw them!
I love how beautiful your back yard is. The birdies depend on your momma to make sure they have meals for the day. So does the Squirrel and by the way, do you have raccoons? Glad your momma is home with you.
Yes, delete and block that spam message!
Anyway, that was A LOT of snow! I saw some of the coverage online via CTV Atlantic. It seems rare to get that much snow these days. It looked lovely, of course, picture-perfect.
We're bracing for up to 50 mm of rain tomorrow, then freezing rain overnight on Saturday and into Sunday. That seems to be the pattern: freeze, thaw, freeze, thaw. I'm cringing, because I'm still dealing with leaking issues in my master bedroom (now between the interior walls). Anyway, Derry and I will be hunkered down and inside this weekend, staying safe (I hope)!
That's some winter wonderland sweeties and I'm sure glad you are inside kitties too!

The snow is pretty, but yeah, you girls are lucky to be inside!
wow that's an impressive storm. when we get a lot of snow the boyz watch me shovel the steps and sidewalk and they have a smug look on their faces like 'what's the idiot up to now?'
At least Julie has plenty of Critter TV to watch!
We are having heavy rain now, but it's much better...to me...than snow!
Being a black cat, I also enjoy playing peek-a-boo eyes.
That snow is very pretty. We’re getting lots of rain here. 2-3 inches they say. If that was snow....we’d be buried!
Julie, you made us laugh!! We had a dusting of snow this morning but it went away fast. It's getting cold cold cold right now. We too are happy to be indoor cats! Keep your toes warm, Georgia, and have a fun weekend!
Sorry you got so much snow, but glad you got to have your mum home with you. I hope you have a nice weekend! XO
Brrr that is a lot of snow! It looks like winter wonderland indeed!
Julie, you are so adorable. I love how you play hide and seek :-)
Stay warm and have a fun weekend!
Wowee, that is sure a lot of snow. And then to think it's going to rain ... messy, for sure! We are glad you are indoor cats, Georgia and Julie, so you don't have to deal with any of that. Tell Mum we said to be careful out there, okay? We bet it's real slippery and stuff. Hugs!
The weather has just been crazy! Be thankful you're safe and sound inside :)
