Julie: Earlier in the month there were crows
in the yard. There was also a Mama crow.
As you can see, she was gathering nesting
materials, namely old grass.
That is quite a beakful Mama!!!
Off to build her nest and welcome the babies.
Have you ever seen a baby crow?
We have not.

I've seen lots of adult crows, but never babies.
You know, I haven't seen a baby crow either! In all this time!
WE haven't either. A few weeks back, #1 put out some hair brushed from Hotesse and Violette in a wire feeder and it's all gone. We like to think they will be keeping bird babies arm!
Purrs,
Tama and Benny
Have not seen a baby crow, unless they are as big as the adults!
We also have never seen a baby crow! Mind you, we've never seen crows in their nests, either, in spite of how common the birds are.
That Mama is very busy! We've not seen a baby crow either.
julie; now that ewe haz said that; we haz never see a wee crow;
knot that we look for em at any rate;) ☺☺☺ but de onez in de yard iz all

Awww, such a hard working mama!
That's funny--we haven't either! It would be fun to find out where that nest is being built.
I think the babies can be as big as an adult so you can’t tell them apart. :)
They are fascinating to watch.
Great question… i don’t think i have… and I’m impressed with the amount of grass mama is able to carry.
Hi Julie and Mum!
I've only seen the baby crows at a nature sanctuary. Never in the wild.
That Mama crow is like us when we go grocery shopping, and try to carry all the bags from the car to the house in a single trip. MOL!
XO
