I see Big Birds!

Julie: Gee! I see ducks!
They must be after the seeds Mum puts out.
No matter what the weather they stop by.
This Winter has not been too bad as the
temps have not been too cold and we have not
had bad snowstorms.

I like looking at them as they are so big.
Way bigger than Chickadees!

Still I would like to go out and see them.

Mum says I cannot go out. Darn!
May as well have a bite to eat then.

Some years ago, we would occasionally get ducks in our garden too, but we haven't seen any recently. Nothing bigger than a wood pigeon!

Julie, you'll get out there someday, probably when the sun comes back and the white stuff fades away.
Some of us are impatient for that time, which is very silly since one cannot boss around Mother Nature.

Sorry you can't play with the ducks, but at least you have food. :) Have a nice week with your mum. XO

Your mom is smart! Much better to watch them from the safety of your window.

Those are mighty impressive ducks to be admired from afar.

Dear Julie, Hi I'm Dori *wavy paws* At my house momma sprinkles peanuts in the yard so Sassy Squirrel and company will hang around our catio provide entertainment. We also get deer, but they are kinda snooty. Never come up to bump noses with me. So sad. We also get owls, but they scare me. Look hungry. Like I'm on the menu. So I freeze until momma notices and brings me inside. Hope you have a wonderpurr day. Love, Dori

We can see the ducks swimming in the water behind our building. We're not very close to them, though. And we see geese flying in the sky! It's very exciting.

Well, we guess since you can't go out and see the ducks, having some delicious food is pretty good. Hugs to you and Mum, Julie!
