Vacation ,Blogoversary and Remembering

Julie: Hello  friends! Nice to see you again!

Mum and I had a wonderful vacation.

Some of it was spent with mum's younger sister.

Mum enjoyed her stay, but I did not as much.

Mum's sister has 2 cats at her home.

One is hers and one belongs to her son .

Good thing mum's sister had a suite in the basement for us,

and we never had to meet. Mum had a great time,

and I did when she came down in the evenings for 

bedtime. She often came down during the day too.

Let me just say I am happy to be home!!!!

Mum went to her younger sister's place(mum has 3 sisters)

as another sister's son was getting married.

We stayed there almost all week and came home Friday.

Needless to say we missed an important anniversary!

The day this blog was started!!

As you may know, mum is NOT very organized!

She should have done this in advance!
Oh well!!!

Anyway, on August 24,2007 mum and Mickey 

started this  blog.

This was the first picture of Mickey.

Mickey lived with other cats too.

This is Tillie

  and this is Georgia

She blogged for a few years and then revealed

that there were actually 3 more cats!!!

I am not sure why she did this and

neither is she. Oh well ;)

Sadly, there are all gone now and there is only me.

I do not mind too much as I get ALL the attention now!

Now that this vacation is over, I hope things get back

to normal! Home sweet home...I love it!!!!

Our 7th Blogoversary !

Well friends, it is hard to believe, but we have been

blogging for 7 years today! WOOT !

It has been mighty fun too.

Sure we do not post every day as we used to, 

but we still enjoy sharing our lives with you.

This blog was started by our brother Mickey,the black cat.

This was the very first picture he posted.

This is one of the last pictures of Mickey.

He was 17 3/4 years old.

He was a very cool cat too.

 This is one of the first pictures of me, Georgia.

 The end of 2013 and beginning of 2014 were sad times for us.

Our Tiger passed away January 5,2014

 She was 17 years old.

On  November 29,2013, our Tillie passed away.

She was a silly girl who always made Mom laugh.

She also loved boxes too. Little ones,

and bigger ones.  She was 10years old and we still miss her

so very much.

So that leaves us, We 4 Cats.

We are still full of fun and we enjoy our friends.

We hope to keep sharing our lives with all of you.

We also will continue to visit with you  as well.

So come on over and celebrate with us.

We have a nice porch with cozy sleeping spots

and lots of windows to watch the outdoor life!

The best thing about celebrating is that you do it with your friends!

So! Let the fun begin!

Saying Goodbye to Tiger

Georgia: Once again, sadness has come to our home.

Our big sister Tiger has gone to the Rainbow Bridge.

Tiger was 17 years old and was showing her age. She slept more

and did not always want to eat. Mom took her to the Vet

Thursday evening and she stayed there. The Vet gave her

fluids and medicine. She also did blood tests that showed

Tiger was not doing well. Mom left her there to see if

she could rebound.She did for a bit, but it did not last.

Rather than have her alone at the Emergency Hospital, 

Mom brought Tiger home Saturday afternoon and looked after

her. She was restless and did not want to eat. Mom set her

up on her heating pad and she slept.Every time she woke,

Mom gave her a pat  and told her she was a good kitty

and that she loved her.

Around 3:30 AM, Tiger's breathing slowed and she passed

gently away.

Mickey and Tillie were there to welcome Tiger to the

Rainbow Bridge.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia:

Hi friends! Another week has started and there are only

two days left in this year!

I think I need to have a nap so I will be rested enough

to celebrate the new year.

First, I have to check my bed because Mom gave me treats a 

while ago and I want to be sure I did not miss any.

Dang, no treats.I did get them all.

Anyway, I will have a nice snooze and maybe I will get

some treats later. Mom is not as generous though,because the 

Vet wants me to lose weight! 

 Tiger is snoozing  on her blanket.

Finally Friday

 Georgia: Well, another Friday is here and Christmas gets

closer. It will be pretty quiet this year without Tillie.

We will do our best to keep things merry  and love 

Mom lots just like she loves us.

Mom brought this box in from the porch and I just love it!

It is very cozy and comfy,and my favourite place to 

snooze.

JJ is on the porch rubbing his cheek on the door trying

to decide if he should com in or not!

Julie wants Mom to come and play with her.

She has her fish toy at the ready!

 

 Tiger is hoping for some more foods. Being the most senior

kitty, Mom sometimes feeds her small meals more 

often as she does not finish a regular meal.

Treasure wishes he could have more meals.

He will settle for scritches because he loves them.

Mom had a couple of slices of old bread she was not going to eat,

so she put some peanut butter on them ,cut them in bite sizes

and put them out for the squirrels and birds. Not long after,

the ducks showed up and ate the bread!

We think the squirrel was not too happy.

He did get his seeds earlier though.

Mmmmmm,good!

Monday Musings with Georgia

 Georgia: I am sitting on this windowsill where I can see

into the porch, and through the door to the outside. It is

a stormy,messy day! So nice to be indoors.

Mom put out some seeds and mixed birdseed for the critters

outside. They liked it too.

This little bird was getting some seeds Mom puts on the stump.

It was pretty windy and the snow was blowing around.

Later in the day it changed to freezing rain and then rain.

It will be pretty slippery and messy when it starts to freeze!

We kitties are indoors, so only Mom has to worry about

 the conditions outside ;)

We all  are spending a quiet day.

JJ is wondering where he should go for a snooze.

Tiger is working on staying hydrated.

The air gets pretty dry when Winter comes.

Treasure is working on cleaning his furs and paws.

Friday the 13th !

Today may be Friday the 13th, but we are not superstitious.

That's because we have Julie, and she is kinda cute.

With Mom going to work in the dark and coming home in the 

dark, there are not as many photo ops with natural light.

That often means the dreaded flash!

No matter, we still have pics to share with you.

See? That is not bad luck at all!

I do love a good snooze!

Mom says I have big feets!

What do you think?

They are a little bit dirty too, heehee

They are only big because I have extra toes!

As long as they get me around, I do not mind how

big they are or how many toes I have.

Tiger loves to sleep on the porch when the sun shines.

She is cozy warm !

JJ likes to keep an eye on the outdoors!

You never know what might come into the yard!

Treasure likes to hang around with Mom.

He likes the sunshine and weekends with Mom.

Well,heck, we all do too !
