Monday Musings with Julie

Julie: Hi friends. As you can see, I was on the porch.

It was pretty cool and I did not stay out long.

We did have sunshine and that was nice.

Georgia and JJ spent most of the weekend snuggling.

Critter TV was pawsome this weekend though I don't 

think my friends in  Troute Town  would agree.

That's because we had birds!

Here is a crow with Earl the Squirrel.

There were also lots of ducks.

This group was getting ready to leave.

They winter in the river next to our place.

It runs along the side of the house downhill from us.

Then it goes under the road(bridge) into the lake.

Right now, most of the lake is iced over.

The best news is that the temps for this week will

be above 0 C !!!!!(That's 32F for our American friends)

We will be getting rain and some sun this week!

Mum hopes it takes away a lot of snow!

I hope it warms up the porch!

Finally Friday !

Georgia: Happy Friday everyone!

We always love Friday because it is the start of the weekend.

Mum is home on weekends.

That means lots of time for play,scritches and lots of attention.

It also means mum tries to get pictures of us.

Weekends are best as  she can take pics in daylight.

During the week, it is dark when she gets home.

I am looking forward to playing. I have my crochet toy

JJ is posing a bit in low light.

He is hoping for a treat.

When you are 22 years old, you generally get them.

Julie is the queen of "Not looking at the camera".

 Mum still manages a pretty good pic though !

She will be ready for play,scritches and porch time

this weekend.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Oh Hi! I am having a drink of water.

It is nice to drink water as the air at this time of year 

is pretty dry so it is good to stay hydrated.

My big brother JJ also came over for a drink,

JJ and Julie were on the porch for a while Sunday morning.

When the clouds came and blocked the sun, they came in.

It is warmer in the house as mum turned the heat on.

JJ knows that he will get back on the porch again.

He likes it out there  about as much as Julie.

When it got cool, Julie came in and lay under the credenza.

The floor vent is next to her and she is loving the warm air.

I don't blame her as I like to sleep on the vents

myself. I think I will go and find one now!
