Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Another weekend has passed and it was good.

The weather was hot and sunny.

Just before supper on Sunday, we had a rain shower.

I enjoyed spending time in this old office chair.

Can you see how I have it nicely furred up?

JJ: We all love the porch and there is one really good reason

why. It opens into the kitchen! I can sit here and watch mum.

If she gets out any food, I'm right there!

Treasure: Mum, don't you know that I am trying to sleep?

Wake me only when it's meal time.

Julie: I am sitting here waiting for mum to put that camera

down and get the supper ready. Come on mum !

I'm hungry!

Mom was MIA All Weekend!

Georgia: The first weekend of Summer and I was on the porch.

Mom said she had to go out and would be gone all day.

Well, Treasure and I decided that we were not going to be posing

 for any pictures  if we were being abandoned!

JJ decided he was not going to pose either !

Mom went to help out at this Strawberry shortcake and Garden Tour

This kitty, called Catman Doo, lived at the hosts  home.

This doggie called Dorey lived there too.

This sounds suspicious. I think Mom was playing with them !

That kitty looks like she had belly rubs !

Mom admired this lady's hat.

I think it would be fun to play with.

 Mom was very late getting home and supper was late too.

Then Sunday afternoon, she went out again!

She said it to attend a book launch for a close family friend.

At least she was not as late getting home, but we did miss her

 this weekend. I hope she does not plan to make this a habit. 

Julie was not impressed with Mom either.
