Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Hi friends. It has been an interesting week.
We had a blizzard on Jan. 3. A rainy day on Jan 6.
Then it was really cold all week.
Then we had a huge rain and wind storm on
Saturday! It washed away most of the snow too.
Mom is happy about that.

The birds are happy too as they do not have to
dig in the snow for their seeds.

Earl the Squirrel is happy too as he can get around
without having to make tunnels in the snow!

He loves sunflower seeds!

This was the snow we got Friday January 3.

This is what the yard looked like on
Sunday January 12.
There is still a lot of Winter left so we expect this
view to keep changing from green to white.
Thank heavens I am an indoor kitty !

Julie was pretty active this weekend.
Pop over and see her at House Panthers.

It's hard to decide which is better...the critters show up so much better in the snow! Makes for great TV, we bet.

It's been a rotten winter in a lot of places so far. We're glad the deep snow didn't last long for you and the little ones who hang around your yard.

I'm kind of sad that all those outside critters have to deal with the elements.

The poor outside critters. We had a big old rain and windstorm Friday and Saturday and it knocked out all of our internets and television so we could not even watch the Seahawks!

Such extremes in your weather. We sure are glad you are indoor kitties and that your Mom puts food out for the outdoor critters. :)

We had pouring rain on Saturday, but we've got so much ice that it caused flooding on the streets, etc., and left everything in a huge mess. It'll be spring before our snow goes!

You guys have fantastic kitty TV, no matter what the weather, though. :-)

Blogger just ate our first comment so we are trying again.

We're gad you're snow-free for now. We're wondering when and if winter is ever going to arrive here. The weather has been so strange. Tommy and #1 went out for a walk in glorious late afternoon sun an hour ago and now it's pouring with rain!

Your squirrel looks very red!

Amazing ! So many weather changes in so little time ! If we had to choose, we prefer snow to rain. Purrs

We think everyone has seen some extreme weather but nothing like that! We are glad you are all doing OK.

Your weather has been a lot like ours. A lot of snow has melted and we've been seeing a lot more birdies and squirrels too.

I am glad your snow didn't last long.We are getting torrents of rain here but it is very mild.

It's kinda like real TV with the end of seasons and the start of seasons all over the place! But--I think I'd rather have your variety than the same old thing!

It looks like you have snow-no snow-snow-no snow.

At least you get a change. We just have sun every freaking day.

We agree....inside is WAY better!

You are really going from one extreme to the other. I am really glad you are an inside kitty, too. It's much better inside.

It certainly has been a winter of extremes - blizzard conditions followed by almost tropical temps. We heard on the radio today that we have the highest temps in Canada. Mom says that won't last.

enjoy the sunshine while it lasts!

You surely did have some crazy weather there! We're glad you are safe and okay. And that the birds and squirrels have come back. :)

Tweedles -- that's me said...

Well I am very happy right now, and do you know why?
Its because all those happy birdies and squirrels and other furrys that live at your house,,,can find some foods to eat!

It's a pity you can't have one scene out of one window and the other out of the other!
