Lazy Weekend with Ice,Snow and Sunshine !

Georgia: We had a lazy weekend. It was great as it included
an extra mum day.
Friday was very messy outside as there was an ice storm.
We were happy mum stayed home. She was too.
When it gets cold, I like to snooze undercover.

I must admit is was not cold at all in this little cave.
It is pawsome !

Julie: Sunday was sunny! It was cold outside,
but cozy on the porch.

It was great for snoozing and sunbathing.

Warm sunshine makes me so happy I have too
rub my face.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
I love sunshine!

After the ice storm, we had rain.
After the rain we had some snow.
That did not bother the ducks or the squirrel.
They all like to eat.

Even Mr Crow came for some eats.

For our friends at Troute Town
yes mum spends some monies on seeds,
but we make sure she gets OUR foods first.
If there is no money left for her food,
she can join the ducks! MOL!!!

We had a nice lazy (and pretty warm) weekend here. I keep hearing mom and dad saying words like "closing", "packing" and "mortgage". I wonder what could be going on...

Glad you got some sun after all the bad weather.
We had storm Ciara over the weekend and it was a bad one with up to 90 mph wind and torrential rain causing widespread flooding and damage.
We are lucky that we live on high ground so our flooding is limited to the garden. Today the winds of 40 mph feel like a gentle breeze after yesterday!

You had crazy weather! We had a 2-day snowstorm (Thursday/Friday), then more last night, but we didn't get the freezing rain you all had. That's so dangerous; we're glad your mum stayed home. We're also glad you got to enjoy the sunshine!

Julie, we all love the sun too! Georgia, none of us likes to burrow, even though Mom tells us we'd be cozier. Our really old bro Eddie would try to get warm any way he could, including wearing Mom's sweaters or sweatshirts *with* her! If he was all cozy and Mom had to get up for something, she'd just carry him in that ready-made "pouch" and do whatever it was she had to do. (He always hid under the comforter, too, even in summer!)

We're getting snow tomorrow again.

Wow, you sure did have a wild weather weekend, Georgia and Julie. But we are glad you got some sunpuddles and lots of snuggles from Mum. :)

Oh mouse-droppings, ice storms are the WORST! Freezes the paws and after a few days, the paws go THROUGH it. And THEN, you have to worry about snow-snakes biting them...

We stayed home a lot past weekend also...nust have been the samwe storm going east from here...

And we too, see petcretary feeding those outdoor critters....but she still manages to get our yummy noms as well....must be why she leaves us betimes to get green papers added to her account to help us:)
