Lazy Weekend with Ice,Snow and Sunshine !

Georgia: We had a lazy weekend.It was great as it included 

an extra mum day.

Friday was very messy outside as there was an ice storm.

We were happy mum stayed home.She was too.

When it gets cold, I like to snooze undercover.

I must admit is was not cold at all in this little cave.

It is pawsome !

Julie: Sunday was sunny! It was cold outside,

but cozy on the porch.

It was great for snoozing and sunbathing.

Warm sunshine makes me so happy I have too

rub my face.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

I love sunshine!

After the ice storm, we had rain.

After the rain we had some snow.

That did not bother the ducks or the squirrel.

They all like to eat.

Even Mr Crow came for some eats.

For our friends at Troute Town

yes mum spends some monies on seeds, 

but we make sure she gets OUR foods first.

If there is no money left for her food, 

she can join the ducks! MOL!!!

Mancat Monday with JJ

Good day friends. JJ here.

As you can see, I am enjoying some sunshine and I like it very much.

Saturday morning did not start out very well for me.

Mum dragged me to the Vet!

Something about a semi-annual exam.

Sheesh, what do I know about exams?

More than I thought apparently as I passed with flying colours!!

The Vet stole some blood and was very impressed with 

the results. My kidneys are looking good and she 

told mum that I could reduce my Thyroid medication

to 3/4 of a pill.

Not bad for an old fella!

The vet staff thought it was neat that the Tech drawing

my blood was born in the same year as me...1997!

Anyway, after all that excitement, I need a good snooze!

In a rare sighting, the sisters,who have a dodgy  relationship,

were in close proximity on the couch.

Something caught their eyes, though I am not sure what.

Georgia and Julie did pose for a picture and were

well behaved.

Guess they both just wanted to enjoy the sunshine.

Stormy Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Sunday I was enjoying the sun streaming into the kitchen.

It was warm and felt good.

I could see the door to the porch was open,so I decided

to go out to the porch.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm,this feels good.

I spent a good long while  enjoying the sun.

 JJ also enjoyed the sunny rays.

So did Julie.

It got a bit warm, so JJ moved into the shade.

We had to enjoy the sunny purch yesterday as it is quite

stormy today!

This is what our yard looked like yesterday.

The weather people are calling for a blizzard.

We should  get 30-60cm of snow with high winds!

(That is 12-24inches for our American friends)

This is a snow day for mum.

She will have to carve a new oath to the bird feeders.

As you can see from the picture above, the

Porch Queen (aka Julie) was on the porch.

Georgia's Weekend

Georgia: I do not often get on the porch in Winter.

While it is enclosed, it is not heated.

When the sun shines though, it gets nice and warm.

especially when there is no wind.

It is nice too after all the rain we had Friday.

Needless to say I enjoyed that sun and heat.

Oh, this is nice.

Oooooooooooooooo!

Time to get up.

Turn around, 

and do the other side.

I was not the only kitty to worship the sun.
