Julie: Gee, mum's desk is a bit messy.
At least there is room for me to sit.
Sometimes I need to sit here to remind her that
she needs to pay more attention to ME!
Good thing that is not hard.
Mum likes giving me attention...and scritches,
and kisses and hugs and... OK, you get the idea
...she loves me !
Well, I am a lovable girl and I love mum too!
I love to be near her all the time. OK, most of the time.
We both enjoy being together because it is FUN!!

It always works! And you know, I think uskitties get more kisses from our family than ANYONE! Mom sure smooches me and I see other kitties getting so many smoochies!
So glad to read about your relationship with your mum! My version is this: I'm her best friend when I see fit (same with dad). Otherwise, I do my own thing on my own terms, like it or leave it. They know I love them in my own way no matter, and that's that.

I wanted to thank you for coming to visit my blog after Tucker died recently. It's been two weeks, I know, but I will always be grateful.

We have to do the same thing to our mom (sit on her desk for attention). Sometimes her desk is so cluttered we also inspire her to clean it so we have a nice surface to sit on. It's fantastic that you're enjoying each other's company over the weekend.
