Heritage Day at Mickey's Musings

Georgia: Mum is home today as it is a holiday.

It also means she will be after us for pictures!

I don't always like having my picture taken.

She wants me to look at the camera.

That tongue is sticking out at mum, not my friends!

JJ is ready for a nap.

Julie is looking out at the frozen landscape.

We had rain on Saturday and then it froze!

Some areas are icy,but mum has cleared some

pathways.

Julie did consent to posing for the camera.

Mum is home because it is Heritage Day.

Every year we honour people that have made a 

difference in Nova Scotia.

This year, we honour Maud Lewis.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: We had a pretty decent weekend.

 It was sunny on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Sunday afternoon it rained and it is still raining today.

Saturday, JJ was waiting by the door for Mom to bring

in some grass. JJ and Julie love grass!

They got some.

Sunday morning,before the rain, Treasure enjoyed this

nice sunny window.

Georgia: Rain or shine, we can always be on the porch.

Hmmmmmm, this cardboard looks like a place to stretch

my nails.

Scratch,scratch...

Well, that felt good. Now I can relax.

Lazy Days of Almost Summer

Georgia: Oh hi! Our temps are warming up and on this

enclosed porch, it is really nice and warm.

It's nice and not too hot.

These days make a kitty feel lazy.

I mean wow, the sun and heat feel good!

Mmmmmmmmmmmm! I think a nap will do nicely!

JJ is feeling lazy today.

Treasure is feeling lazy too.

Julie is pondering today.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Well, this is one of those Mondays where the sun is not

shining. Therefore, it is a good day to continue what we did

yesterday...snooze!

Yes, I know I should get up and exercise a bit. Maybe later,maybe not.

I just feel comfy here.

JJ: I know what you mean Georgia.

Still, I might go and see what Julie is doing.
