Winnie says...Happy Canada Day!!!!!

Winnie:  Gee friends, it has been a while but I finally 

for mum to help me blog!

It was  a tiring process as you can see...MOL!!

Anyway, we are celebrating as today is Canada day!
Yup, it is Canada's 157th Birthday !!!

I am resting up to be ready for any festivities

and I hope it involves some food ! MOL!!

As you can see, I am just dangling on this cat tree

and enjoying the sun on my black furs.

Mum says cats are heat seeking missiles...

                                            Anyway, I am pretty sure it will be a good day

                                               and I am ready for what ever fun that  comes!

I don't mind it at all since I get to relax and

enjoy myself all day.

Monday Musings

Georgia: Well, I had my annual exam on Thursday night.

While my Vet is nice, I have seen more of her than I really like.

However, she is pretty pleased with me.

She stole a lot of things from me though.She took some pee,

some poop and some blood!!Then she gave me a rabies shot!

Whew, I was glad to get back home. Mum picked up a selection 

of food to try and we all liked some of them.

Mum has not heard about the results yet.

However, I am happy again and using the box too.

JJ: As the oldest kitty here, I must admit that my

greatest pastime is snoozing and eating.

I am back in my spot in the living room.

As you can see, mum has a nice spot for me and it is

mighty cozy and warm. I like posing too.

Julie: I like to be anywhere mum is.

She took this picture Sunday morning.

As you can see, the sun was coming up and shining on my furs.

The rising sun makes my furs look red.

I also like to hang out in the kitchen.

I love to roll on this matt and rub my face.

I rub my face when I'm happy and whenever

mum is around I am happy!

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: About 10 days ago, I went to the Vet for my

semi-annual check up.

I did pretty well, but I had to go back as they wanted a pee

sample and I would not give one to mum.

The Vet also said I had some raised enzyme levels in my

liver,but nothing to get worried about now.

She did call back to say my pee was pretty good. Whew!

Now I can relax a bit,though mum wants me to 

get up and move around more.

I just may do that as she will likely bruse me and I 

love getting brushed!

JJ: As the resident old fellow,I enjoy snoozing.

I also enjoy eating which pleases mum.

I'm trying to decide if I should go wandering or sleep more.

It is a little rainy outside, but at least the thunderboomers

of this morning are gone !

Decisions,decisions!

Maybe I will sleep on it for a bit.

At least until it's supper time.

Mancat Monday with Treasure and JJ

Treasure and JJ: Today, we are doing a post.

We are the Mancats around here and we thought

we should have a post.

I am JJ . I am 19 years old and in good health.

I still like to groom my furs as I like to look good.

My brother Treasure seems to think I may need help.

I don't !

Treasure:  I am also 19 and in good health.

Unlike JJ, I do not obsess about my furs.

Mum says I should as I have lots of matted furs.

She is always trying to remove them and I don't 

like it!

See! I can do some grooming!

JJ: That's not grooming Treasure,

That's only your paw.You need to do ALL of your furs!

That Treasure keeps Mum busy.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: We had a pretty nice weekend.

It was cool and rainy on Saturday and Sunday  finally

warmed up and was sunny. I still wanted to lay here on

this comfy blankie because it is comfy and I like it here.

I can even have a nice view out the window to the back deck.

JJ enjoyed some time playing "big cat, small box"

Treasure enjoyed looking at Critter TV.

Earl, the little red squirrel was enjoying some seeds Mom gave him.

Julie had fun on the porch. She loves it on the porch.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Yesterday was sunny and the porch was warm.

Mom asked why I was not on the porch.

I said I was on the porch for a while, but I like this

soft ,cozy blanket  indoors better.

I have it all to myself when the others are on the porch.

JJ loves to soak up the sun.

Then he can have a bath.

Sometimes Treasure likes to sit on this sill overlooking

the porch. Mom took some "artsy" pics with 

Treasure and this window. We will share them

in another post.

Julie loves the sun. Those black furs just soak

up the heat  and she gets really warm.

Finally Friday

Georgia: Well, it's Friday again and we are looking forward to

 two days of Mom time. Mom is happy too as the weather was 

crazy this week. It was sunny  and rainy and warm and cold !

Wednesday was warm and Mom got wet in the rain coming home.

Thursday was cold and there were snow flurries falling!!

They did not stay. Today is sunny and cool and we will be 

getting more rain this weekend. Good thing Mom will be

indoors with us!!

 Now, lets see what my siblings are up to.

Julie is in the kitchen looking out the window.

There are always birds and even Earl the Squirrel around.

Looks like she is trying to find a way to go play with them.

Forget it Julie! Not going to happen.

Tiger is relaxing on a comfy pillow on the floor. It is easy for

her to get on as she does not have to climb anything.

She likes it a lot.

Treasure is just sitting on the floor watching what is going on,

even behind him, heehee.

JJ appears to be thinking about where to go and have a nap.

For now, he is watching what Tillie is doing.

Tillie is checking out her mouse.

She has the mouse in a deathgrip !!

Oooo!! She is sending laser eyes to any cat that even thinks

 about trying to get her mousie !!!

We hope you all have a fun, fun weekend !!

Mancat Monday

I am just hanging out on the porch.
Mom says it will rain today and most of the week.
I guess that means I will be getting lots of naptime!!

Lazy Sunday

Mom was away yesterday at a family reunion.

Today, she is spending time with us. Cool!!!
