I had a big operation!

Julie: Hi friends. As you can see I am home.
Last Wednesday I was at the Vet for
another operation! Yup, I had another lump
on my belly. This lump wad on the other side.
The Vet decided to remove the"mammary
chain". It was called a unilateral mastectomy.
All I know is that I did not feel the best
for a few days and I have  a belly full of stitches!

Mum is happy I am doing well and eating!
That means a lot to humans. I am happy too.
I go back to the Vet next week at have the stitches out.
I am already licking at them  and mum watches to make sure
I do not bite  or chew them.
So far so good.  I feel well and enjoy my scritches.
I will be glad to have the stitches out though!!

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Here I am posing nicely for the camera.
I am happy to say that I am feeling quite good too.
Mum said this is the last week before Christmas.
I cannot wait for Santa. I want him to bring treats.

JJ has been playing musical chairs with mum.
This is her computer chair and JJ likes it a lot.
I hope he remembers that Santa comes this weekend.
It won't matter though, Santa likes cats!

Here is one area decorated for Christmas.

Even Julie has been good. She stopped by to say Hi, but
did not try to chase me. Whew!
She can be a bit naughty like that sometimes.
I guess she is trying to be good .

You can see what she has been up to this past week.
Pop over to see her at House Panthers !

Finally Friday

Georgia: Well, I went back to the Vet yesterday for a
check up.Mum was concerned that I was not pooping
enough and she was right!
The Vet gave me a micro enema and sent me home.
As you can see, I was pretty happy after I used the
litterbox.

I even got to spend the evening on the porch.

Hey JJ, what are you doing?

JJ: Just checking out this box.

It's a nice box.

I don't want to stay in it though.

Good thing you don't have that vet smell Georgia.
You smell OK.

Julie was relaxing on the porch too.

Treasure was wandering around the house.
Mum took him to the Vet too as he was showing signs
of being constipated too!
Mum noticed on Tuesday that he was going to the box
but not doing anything. She gave him some of
the Lax-a-Day*  and on Thursday he pooped!
The Vet said mum caught it in time and he was clear.
So it looks like me and Treasure will get the laxative
on a regular basis to keep us,well, regular!

Guess we can all relax now and start this weekend!
We purr you all have a healthy and FUN one!

easily be mixed with food or dissolved in  water.

WooHoo! No More Bandages!

Georgia: Check it out...no bandage!
The IV line is gone.
The Vet is happy with my progress.
My appetite is slowly returning.
I ate some supper when I got home.
I am so happy this ordeal is over!

THANK YOU ALL FOR THE PURRS AND PRAYERS!
