Julie and the Moon

Julie: Just relaxing in the sun and getting my black furs hot!

Don't worry, I go inside if it is too hot..

Mum makes sure of that.

 

The full moon was shining last night.

It is pretty impressive.

 Almost as impressive as me. MOL!!!!

I had a big operation!

Julie: Hi friends. As you can see I am home.

Last Wednesday I was at the Vet for

another operation! Yup, I had another lump 

on my belly. This lump wad on the other side.

The Vet decided to remove the"mammary

chain". It was called a unilateral mastectomy.

All I know is that I did not feel the best

for a few days and I have  a belly full of stitches!

Mum is happy I am doing well and eating!

That means a lot to humans. I am happy too.

I go back to the Vet next week at have the stitches out.

I am already licking at them  and mum watches to make sure

I do not bite  or chew them.

So far so good.  I feel well and enjoy my scritches.

I will be glad to have the stitches out though!!

Julie After Dark!

Julie: Mum was late getting home and I wanted

to go outside. She said it was dark, nut I still wanted 

to go out.

Gee! It IS dark out here!

Maybe I will come back indoors. 

There is not much to see in the dark!

Maybe tomorrow I can go out if you are not late again.

I hope so too Julie. Summertime roadwork

is never fun  to contend with when you want to

get home!

There are clouds in the sky and they are

making the moon  a bit spooky.

The moon will be full on Sunday,August 22.

It will be the Sturgeon moon.

It will also be a "Blue moon"

Last night, it was a mysterious moon.

Well, I am looking forward to Friday night.

Not only will mum be home for the weekend,

she will be on vacation for a week!!!

Oh the belly rubs I will get!!!!!!!!!

Talk about FUN!!

Happy Halloween Weekend!

 

Julie: Happy Friday my friends.It is Friday again and
mum will be home for the weekend.
Not just any weekend either...it's Halloween weekend!

A purrfect time for we black cats!.

I am helping mum with the computer to get things done.

I am happy that mum's desk is not too messy.

That would be embarrassing to show and there is

room for me to sit and guide her.

Why she is complaining I don't know.

She seems to think I am in her way and that she cannot 

see the monitor. Pickey, pickey!

Anyway,we are happy that Halloween is on the weekend.
There will also be a full moon too!

It will be quiet at our place(it always is) as we are

on a road with few houses  and no streetlights.

We are the first house and we can see the main road.

Down that road from us is another road that goes up a hill 

to a trailer park. That is probably why we never get any

trick or treaters ;)

That's OK, as I do not like scary people coming to the door.

I will be happy to just have mum with me.

Together we will have FUN!

Finally Friday!

Georgia: Whew! What a week!

I was ever so happy to be an indoor kitty.

We had sun,rain and snow and it's only Friday!

Today is sunny and cold and tomorrow, it will be raining 

again!

Mum is also happy it's Friday and the weekend is here.

We finally have some decorations to show.

This is our living room window that looks out onto

the porch.

This tiny tree is at the far end of the living room.

We will get mum to take more pictures in daylight 

this weekend. That is if Julie will let mum 

stop rubbing her(Julie) belly.

That sister of mine is obsessed!

Since the full "Cold Moon" falls on

Friday the 13, here is a picture of a black cat!

Yes it's Julie, but she is black. 

But she is not bad luck.
