Georgia:  Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Oh hi! We are all just having a nice lazy,long weekend!

Even mum was lazy. She read some books and went to 

an outdoor play. It was about some guy called Julius Caesar

It was put on buy a local group called Shakespeare By the Sea

Mum said it was good.

 JJ was in the next chair keeping me company.

Julie was enjoying the sunny window!

We are all happy  because mum is home today as it is

Labour Day!

Mum is happy too.

A long,long, time ago we got this fabulous award

from the pawsome gang at Pets Overload!

We are hounored that they chose our blog too.

As you know, there are so many great blogging friends 

out there.

We started by reading many of their blogs and mum got a camera

and we started blogging too!

That was 10 years ago.

Mum likes helping us blog  because:

#1-It acts like a diary and she can see how we(and our friends) 

have changed over the years.

She can also see what events were going on too.

#2- With so many blogging friends, you have access to so much

great information that can help keep  us happy and healthy.

Blogging is fun and easy to do.

There is no obligation other than to have FUN !

The Tooth Fairy Visits Julie!

Julie: Guess what!!!

I got a package from the Tooth Fairy!

I did not know such a thing existed!

I was not happy that the Vet stole 2 of my teeth,

but if a Tooth Fairy brings toys,well that  makes it

a bit better to take!

Mmmmmmmmmmm, it smells good.

WOW!!! Look at this! TOYS!

Decisions,decisions.

I'll try this light one first.

Mum says it looks like a gourd.

I say it looks like fun!

Our 9th Blogoversary!

Well dear friends, we have made it to 9 years!

We are pretty amazed we have blogged that long.

There have been many changes over the years too.

Our big brother Mickey started this blog in 2007.

It was a new experience for him and for mum.

We did not always know how to do things or how they worked.

Other bloggers were helpful then and they remain so today.

We have met so many pawsome friends too. 

That is the best part about blogging.

That is why we will continue to blog.

We purr you will join us in celebrating our 9th year.

Thank you all

 for being a wonderful part of our experience!

We look forward to more years of sharing adventures with you.

Our 8th Blogoversary !

Today we celebrate  our 8th year of blogging!

We thought it would be good to share some memories.

Our very first post was Aug 24, 2007 and featured

the blog founder Mickey, The Black Cat.

Our first commentor was our frucousins Team Tabby.

The next day, we had Daisy ,the Curly Cat(on FB now)

and Roxy from The Devil Dog.

We continued to get used to blogging and meeting so many new friends.

Mickey found love with the lovely Miss Peach and on

October 31,2009 they got married!

In  March of 2010, we revealed that there were actually 

3 more kitties living with us. We do not have a good reason

 why we waited so long to include them, but we are

glad we finally did.

Here is Tiger.

And here are JJ and Treasure.

 In July of 2012, we adopted Julie.

She was rescued from the great outdoors.

She is now very happy as an indoor kitty(as we all are).

Some years were sad, when we lost good friends, and our own

siblings. We said goodbye to Mickey in 2011, 

Tillie in 2013 and Tiger in 2014.

We still miss them 

Winter of 2015 is a season we will not forget.

At least Mom won't as it was the year of lots

and lots of SNOW!

Mom wore out her shovel trying to keep up with

all the storms. She was lucky that neighbours had

machines to help out.

We kitties were cozy and warm inside!

On hot days like we are having now, it is good to

remember what we had a few months ago.

We look forward to more years of blogging and meeting new

friends. We think that as long as there are kitties(and critters)

 there will be blogs!

Missing Tillie

Georgia:  Mom said Tillie has gone to the Rainbow Bridge.

I keep looking, but I cannot see her anywhere.

Tillie was my littermate and I miss her.

We all do.

We are very thankful we have such good friends here

in the Cat Blogosphere.

We appreciate all the kind words and purrs and

purrayers  very much.

Things happened way too fast and Tillie was only 10 years old.

Same age as me.

.We will come to visit you all  soon, to thank you 

for your kindness.

Julie is going to keep posting at House Panthers.

She is nervous about posting alone.

I just wanted to say a BIG Thank You to all you 

wonderful friends who have left so many kind

thoughtful and comforting messages while

Mickey was ill and when he went to the

Rainbow Bridge.

My head knows that it was time for him to go,

but my heart is sad.

He has been with me for 17 3/4years . 

We have been through good & bad times.

My best pal and companion.

I am happy that he is not sick anymore 

and is eating all the grass he can at the

Rainbow Bridge :)

It will take some time to get used to him

not being around and not seeing that 

sweet face when I come home from work.

I am glad for the other kitties. They will help

me deal with this loss. They are good kitties.

We will try to return your visits,especially 

those we have not met before.

Once again, this shows the tremendous support

 and friendship in the Cat Blogosphere!!!!

Easy Like Sunday

Well friends, I am still here.

I love to snooze and do it a lot!

My heaty pad keeps me warm.

Mom says that it is warmer today,

and will be all week!

I am happy about that.

Spring will be here in 2 weeks 

and we move the clocks ahead next week.

I am not feeling the best, but I am not

quite ready to leave.Mom has to feed me,

and I will accept that. For now,I am 

content to sleep and dream and

think about how many wonderful friends

I have made over these past few years.

That makes me happy!!

Have a happy Sunday and take it easy!!
