Another Storm and a Long Weekend!

Julie: It is dark by the time mum gets home.

Therefore I dine at night with no view from 

the window. If I could show you what I see,

 it would look very different from what we have

had. On Monday we had a snowstorm that left

lots of light, fluffy snow. Thursday it rained and now

most of the snow is gone.

Today is going to be  a wild one!

The weather service has issued bulletins.

There is a wind warning, a rainfall warning and

a flash freeze warning!!!

Yup, the temps will drop in a hurry (from 8C to -3C ) 

and the rain on the ground will freeze very fast!

This makes for dangerous conditions for walking

and driving!

Yikes!! Good thing mum will be home just before 

things get too bad!  Another good reason 

to be an indoor cat!

By Monday, the temps will we warmer again!

Mum says  Winter was not like this when she was

a kid. It snowed and it stayed until Spring.

I think I will just stay indoors!

What do you mean  by "smile" ?

Isn't it enough I am looking at the camera?!

MOL! I love driving mum nuts!!!!

 I may not always want to pose for the camera

but sometimes I will. After all, I want my friends to see me.

So, what's FUN? Warm homes, food, belly rubs 

and a human that loves me.

Also a long weekend  ahead!

Mum's Random pics From the Weekend

Julie: It was nice having an extra mum day.

It was quite a rainy day too so mum was happy

to be  home. I liked it too.
Happy Birthday Halifax!

The ducks stopped by as they know mum still puts

out some seeds. They enjoy them a lot.

We even had a visit from a cheeky squirrel!!!!

 We did have some sun on the weekend and I found 

it on my fuzzy mat. I get lots of brushings on this mat.

I like that a lot too!

This is also where I get lots of brushings.

I REALLY like that! It feels so good !

Long Weekend Ahead with Mum !

Julie: Are you calling me mum?

Is it time to come in already?

OK! I'm coming!

You have some treats...right?

And some brushing time?

Mum: Yes Julie. Come on, let's go!

One day, mum was looking out the kitchen window

and this is what she saw.

She had not seen the deer for quite a while.

 We are having a 3 day weekend.

That is because it is Natal Day.

That is the day we celebrate our city's birthday!

Happy Birthday Halifax!!

I am looking forward to an extra mum day!!

You know that will be FUN!!!!!

Lazy Labour Day

 

Julie: I really like holidays. 

That means extra time with mum.

I made sure to get some sleep so I can be ready

for the extra day with mum!

I like sleeping  and often mum pats me and gives me belly rubs.

I love belly rubs .

I like holidays with mum.

I like sleeping.

I ...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

It's Friday and a Long Weekend!!!!!!!

Julie: We are lucky to have wide windowsills.

Mum says that is because this place is old.

Old or not, I love these windowsills.They are wide enough

for me to stretch out on and also purrfect for dining.

 

After dinner, I get a few treats. I love dessert!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!

It is great to have a comfy place  to tidy up after dining.

It is also a great place for an after dinner snooze.

 That's what I call FUN!!!!

It is also Labour Day weekend.

That means an extra mum day!!!! WooHoo!
Now that will be FUN for both of us!

Friday Long Weekend!!!!

Georgia: Happy Friday friends!

We had a pretty good week and now we look forward

to a pawsome weekend!

Why?

Because it is our Thanksgiving weekend!!!!!!!!

 JJ: That's right Georgia. Thanksgiving is here and that means

mum will be home an extra day!

That means  mote scritches and treats!!

Julie: I would like some treats now please!

I also would like belly rubs.

It is such FUN when mum is home for extra days.

This weekend will be FUN!!!!!!

Hope for Wildlife and Long Weekend!

Julie: On Monday, we mentioned that mum went to

an open house at Hope for Wildlife in Seaforth,

Nova Scotia.

Today I am sharing some pictures  on her visit.

The view on the way. There is a pond near the road before

you get to the compound.

Across the street from the compound is the 

Atlantic Ocean.

It really is located in a beautiful spot.

We are thankful that there is a place for critters to go

to when they need help.

Now that Friday is here, we are excited as this is

the Labour Day Weekend!

That means an extra mum day!!!!

Are we excited? YES!!!

And we will have FUN!!!!!!!!!

We purr you do too!

Canada Day Long Weekend!!

Georgia:  JJ and I are waiting for the day to end

and for mum to get home. Then we will start the 

long weekend!!

Yes, an extra day with mum as we will be 

celebrating Canada's birthday!

It will be a bit rainy and it is rainy today and will be tomorrow.

Then the rest of the weekend improves! WooHoo!

We are looking forward to lots of cuddles and hugs

and scritches and treats.

JJ: Huh? Did somecat say treats?

I like treats! I like scritches too!

I like it when mum is home too.

Julie: I am SO happy mum will be home for 3 days!

I love following her around and getting scritches and belly rubs.

I love to have FUN!

Mum, you can practise rubbing my belly. I'm ready!

Yup! WE are celebrating Canada Day this weekend.

Canada will be 152 years old on July 1st!

That will be FUN !

Thanksgiving Weekend in Canada!

Georgia: Often, I mention that Julie and I do not

always get along very well. That is true!

She can be a little bit  of a bully, but not one

that hurts me. She is just  pushy when it comes

 to mum's attention. She would love to be top cat.

However, here is proof that we all can get along.

We  are all enjoying the sun on the porch couch.

We do have good times,often when it is sleepy time.

We are all looking at mum with much anticipation.

That is because this weekend is our 

Thanksgiving weekend in Canada!

That means an extra mum day!!

Maybe there will be some tasty goodies for us too!

We are also expecting more sunshine and nice temperatures.

That means more porch time!!

Georgia: All the celebrating makes a kitty tired!

We are still enjoying our mum time.

The really hot and humid days add to the drowsiness.

JJ has succumbed to the heat and is enjoying a good snze.
